Chris and Tin got a reaction from j and k in I-129F March 2017 Filers
thank you! the 2go guys in our province texted me that they have it already. unfortunately, i'm on vacation so they can't deliver it at home and just give to my sister since i did not leave an authorization letter. oh well, i'll be home tomorrow so i can pick it up from the office. woohooo!
how's your application going? I really hope you'll get yours soon. everything's just a breeze after the NOA2. though each passing day was a drag, it was all worth it.
btw, during the interview, the consul said that she liked it when the petitioner accompanies the beneficiary. interview was on the 1st (tuesday), petition got issued on the 2nd (wednesday) at about the afternoon, and i got an email from the ustraveldocs on friday that they have already sent my passport through 2go. it was just surreal when you get to the finish line.

Tickets are bought and we are scheduled to move back together August 14th. Flying the red eye into Newark, arriving early am on the 15th, then renting a van and taking a little road trip home to Cleveland.
Reason we are doing the road trip and not flying from Newark to Cleveland is because we are moving her dog, and boy oh boy the rules and regulations and price of moving this dog internationally... lol. How complicated and expensive. The dog move has been more stressful than setting up and coordinating our move. So we decided on a non-stop flight so dog is handled just one time and takes just one flight.
Besides that it's all good

'Immigrant - administrative processing' can be long or short but 'non-immigrant - administrative processing' shows you're one step closer to 'issued'.

Chris and Tin got a reaction from KULtoATL in After Receiving NOA2- What documents do I (US Petiioner ) needs to send to my Filipina fiance for her interview
@KULtoATL is right. You havd listed just about everything. Maybe a copy of the NOA1, NOA2, and the NVC letter. Not necessary, but just include in the package in case she's asked for it.

Looks like you have all covered although I'm not sure if all your passport pages are necessary.
W2s and 1040s aren't needed if you're able to provide the tax transcripts

That is normal. When it changes to 'non-immigrant - administrative processing', that probably means your visa is being printed and what not Congratulations!

I decided not to give K1 advice since there are many here much more aware than me. But as we have gone step by step through the process, I have seen how it affects us individuals and as a couple.
May I make a couple observations? I realize every person and couple are different.
This process has been very emotionally difficult for Wendy. As she experiences the joys of victory in passing her interview, receiving her Visa and others, I have had the pleasure of being by her side. As she experiences the sorrow of telling her family goodbye, I have been able to be her rock and give her the support she needs. Her family has given her special gifts and jewelry. I was able to experience her emotions by her side. Leaving her family is extremely difficult for her. I am a very lucky man. This is my fifth trip to Ecuador. Not only has my being here helped Wendy, but has given her family confidence in the man who is taking her 3,000 away. Her family and I are discussing future vacations, her cousin had taking me to dinner as we built a relationship. Since we LOVE our Fiancées, their families become ours. I imagine as we continue talking about her family, not only is she sharing memories about her family, but they are now intimately mine also.
We leave for the airport in 4 hours. As we wait for OUR COUSIN to take us to the airport, I thought I would send a quick thought.
Please, do what ever you need to do financially. Do not let them experience this event in their life without you by their side. I have dreamed of the day Wendy walks the first time through Miami Airport. In about 12 hours, it will no longer be a dream. I will be holding her hand as that dream becomes a REALITY!
GOD Bless You as you finish your VJ!
Wayne y Wendy

I started out with the January filers but since my received date was in January and my NOA1 date was in February and most the January people left me behind and got approved before me, I moved into the February thread. I had just moved into the March thread a few days before I was approved. I had accepted that I was in for the long haul. The wait was tough so I always enjoy seeing other people's wait end. I think I waited 131 days, which wasn't as bad as the wait of some of these other incredibly strong people here.

On my way to the mailbox today I tried to remind myself not to worry, not to be upset....that it would be here sooner or later. That the NOA2 did in fact exist and I would sooner or later receive mine (because almost everyone will). I have to admit....it gets harder to convince myself day after day after day.
I opened the mailbox and grabbed the usual daily mail....pizza coupons and catalogs....and there it was. The Department of Homeland Security. The coupons and catalogs fell to the ground as I ripped opened the letter.....
Approved y'all. 169 days and today I received my NOA2.
Approved

Nope. No passport style pictures required at interview. Other pictures to demonstrate your relationship could be asked for.

Philippines does things differently with the collection of 2x2 photos. They hand them over at the medical appointment but not at USEM Embassy interview. Different Embassy's may require different steps.

Chris and Tin reacted to Hank_ in Pictures during interview
I don't remember my wife being asked for any 2X2 photos at her interview.. and I do know St. Luke's makes a point of collecting all the necessary photos even for the interview.
What say you that had your interview recently??
Just asked my wife, she confirmed what I thought.. embassy did not ask her for any passport photos
