Congrats!!!! Share your experience please.
It went really well. Interview was today at 10am we got there at 9:20am and was called by 9:55am, the best officer ever. I asked if my husband needed to come with me and she said Yes, as you have i751 pending so I told her my two babies were there with us cuz we didn't have anybody to care for them and she said oh don't worry it is totally fine. We got in her office, sworn in and she said let's start with i751 asked for IDs and resident card, then reviewed the application where I needed to provide the answers and then said well you have two (2) kids there is nothing else I need to ask lol, I thanked her and she said let's move to N400 and we will start with the question right away. Asked me if I minded my family in the room with me while n400 interview was in progress and I said not a all, I would appreciate if they can stay with me so she conducted the interview with my husband and kids in there.
Questions:
1- what month do we vote for president?
2- what ocean is in the east coast?
3- who is your state governor?
4-what are to major political party in the U.S?
5-what did Abraham Lincoln do?
6-When was the Constitution written?
Then asked me to read:
When do we vote for president?
And told me to write we vote for President in November.
She didn't asked for any additional documents except my son's birth certificate cuz he wasn't included in the application as he wasn't born when we filed.
She gave me a paper to confirm all of my information were correct, and made me sign in the ipad twice. She then approved both cases and scheduled me for oath ceremony. They gave me the oath ceremony letter and it will be Friday 12th at 1:35pm so this Friday is a big day for me.
USCIS sites was updated right away to Your card is being produced and we emailed you oath ceremony.

Hi All, Anybody waiting interview in Florida? (Oakland Park Field Office). Timeline. Under 5 years rule. I Sent docs Dallas/Lewisville loockbox Jan 16 2019. NOA: Jan 24 Biometrics App letter: Jan 26. Biometrics: Jan 12. Still waiting...
Tomorrow is my interview, applied June 2018, so 13 months for me under the 3 years rule.
-
Congratulations to everyone who got approved.
My interview is tomorrow morning I alao have I751 pending but I don'tknow if they will be conducting both as they only sent me a n400 interview letter even though they emailed me saying both cases were going to be adjudicated after making service inquiry.
I am very anxious 'cause we will have to bring our babies an infant and a toddler, they babysitter can't help tomorrow and we don't have anybody else we trust our kids. Let's see how it goes, my daughter is in a difficult age, she doesn't like to be steady, we went to dollar tree and bought her some toys hope they help, her ipad is already packed hopefully our data doesn't get slow in there🤣. I would be mortified to hear her crying while I am being interviewed 😂 Oh well no options!
Anyone with experience bringing their supee active kids? They will be outside with my husband unless they need to interview us together.

In the US most marriage certificates only have maiden names, you can still use them as name change documents. Most name changes during the naturalization process are for "americanizing" names - you could've changed your name when you got married.
Hahaha you made my day "Americanizing"
Thanks for the help. Everything is clear now.
-
When we went to open my back account they said my name had two be as in my GC and SS so I haven't been able to only use my name in legal paperwork. Though my credit cards have my marriage name only.
-
We got married in my country and our marriage certificate only has my maiden name.,
Social security, GC and passport has my 3 last name, (My father last name, my mom last name and my husband last name at the end) You can't only have your husband last name in my country.
Example:
First name: Raquel
Last name: Rodriguez Matos de Feliz
Lol
And now I just want to be Raquel Feliz

No big deal. During the interview, after you pass everything, they will ask again if you change your mind about the name change or not. So you can just talk to them there.
Just bring his birth certificate. They probably will make a copy of that for the file, and that's that.
Thank you for the help. So now I can relax. I already know the 100 questions and answers but these doubts were eating my mind lol. Thank you

During your interview you'll go through your application and fix any mistakes.
FYI your marriage certificate already gives you legal permission to take your husband's name.
Thank you so much, so part 2.4 does not apply for me?
Do I just tell them I want my name and my husband's last name on the naturalization certificate?
-
Also we just had our 2nd child and he is not listed on the application, how do we add him, does that even matter?
-
Hello everyone, my n400 interview is in a little less than two weeks so I was checking the snapshot and found out Part 2. Q4 about name change has NO checked when we are certainly sure we checked YES, I want to have my husband last name on my naturalization certificate, I applied based on the 3 years rule, It does say the name we want though. I have 3 last names and I just want to have 1 (my husband) so it is the only change we want.
What should we do?

My estimated case completion time was July 2019 then it changed the same as yours and estimated wait time to september 2019, 2 days after it changed to interview scheduled.. so my estimated case completion time was accurate, estimated wait time still says September 2019.
Good luck

We technically aren't outside processing time until we hit the 120 day mark. So I'm not sure if it would matter.
Wow it is crazy, 4 months to review some evidences 🤦♀️

If you got a letter is because the really transferred your case, I got a letter too at the end of December about the case transfer.
Well the letter said it was transferred to the National Benefits Center, Lee Summit Office, MO and my local office ia Oakland Park so I don't know if my locan office has the file but as they told me on a Email they would adjudicate both cases I am guessing my local office has it.

You can't provide what you don't have. We supplied all tax returns, leases, utility bills, convention tickets, health insurance card, health insurance claims etc. The IO didn't take any of the evidence we brought I think that's why we got a RFE. We are 70 days post interview. Thinking about doing a service request.
I am so sorry you are going thru this just because the IO didn't do his job right. I would be so pissed. I think you should do a case inquiry.

Actually, on Feb 13 I got an email saying that my case was transferred to the local office, but on Feb 14 I got another one said that has been transferred to a different office. then got a MAIL said that transferred to Texas. I'm so confused and IDK what should I do now.
If you got a letter is because the really transferred your case, I got a letter too at the end of December about the case transfer.

Good Morning, I got a notice of interview but it's only mentions-400 nothing regarding I-751. How could I know if that Combo or not???? I heard about some cases after people went to the interview they couldn't make it because the USCIS didn't know about their pending I-751 or they don't have the file.
Have you recieved any email saying your i751 was transferred to your local office? When mine was transferred I made a case inquiry and they said they would adjudicate both cases and now my n400 interview doesn't mention anything about a combo but I am expecting a combo interview as I know for sure my local office has both files.

Where did you guys translated your marriage certificate ?
Have any body used this website https://www.asaptranslate.com/pricing/ ?
We need an original translation for n400 but in this website they email you the translation and mail you a copy so I guess it won't be original, I am lost, don't understand how they can email something and you getting it original.

On our letter it did not say it was going to be a combo interview either. But it was; the IO made it clear he was interviewing him for ROC and N400. Bring all evidences you have. My hubby and I have a fair amount of evidence but not joint bank account. But we do transfer money back and forth. And they can be seen on statements. Supply what you have.
Thank you, so we are going prepared and hopefully it will be a combo interview. Yes, I was thinking about bringing my bank account statements reflecting the money he transfers me, we do taxes together since I came too, and of course we have too many pictures 🤣

Just downloaded my N400 interview letter and it is scheduled for July 09, it doesn't mention anything about a combo interview, it is just one page. My I751 it's been pending for 23 months now and it was transferred to my local office on December 2018, I made a case inquiry and they replied saying they were going to adjudicate both cases.
Will they do a combo interview even if the letter does not mention it?
Also we have nobody to take care of our kids, can we take them with us? They are 2.5 years old and 7 months old.
Oh we don't have any bills or anything together as when I came here my husband already had the house and all the services, we do have car insurance and health insurance together, he opened me a checking account went I can't here cuz he didn't want to share his bank account until I change my last name to his cause right now I have 3 last names his being the last one lol, very immature I know. He does transfer money to my account monthly so I can pay my credit card cause I do not work.

Finally N400 interview scheduled I751 pending it will be a combo interview, I don't know when it is going to be yet cuz they haven't update the dhs site. I got an email and a text message.
