To be honest, you are not well prepare yet if you get confuse for little things like this. Especially on the interview day. As long as you know what you should have, no matter whatever list they give to you, you will be able to do it. If you got confuse during this stage, you will get more confuse during AOS stage later on. They will give you a list of documents needed (they use the same list no matter what visa you want to adjust the status from).

Have copy and original of every docs in case that you submitted . And if you already submitted the medical report exam it's ok you don't need it for the appointment it's only if you didn't. Join bank account statement , insurance etc......jeans /blouse and heels

Hello . So like I promised . I had my interview today at Charlotte NC . It was very fast , first after the security you have to wait in the information office there they give us our number for the appointment and they directed us to the appointment waiting room .
The officer was very nice and kind
She asked first for our passports and my husband (citizen) ID. 
1-She asked to my husband where and when we met .
2- she asked when and where we get married
3- when we arrived in the USA with the k1 visa and k2 and where
4-she asked my husband if he knows my father and my mother names
5- she asked my hubby my city of birth and citizenship
6- if he knows my daughter (k2) birthday
7-she asked our address here in the USA
8- she asked to my daughter my husband Full name
And after it was just security questions
She asked if I had more docs to add to our case
I just brought wedding pictures she looks at them and kept one( she said she loves my dress 😉)
She took our pictures and fingerprints
And said she going to review all the docs and make her decision.🤝
She was very friendly I was very blessed.
On my way home 30mn after I checked on the app and surpriiiiiiiiiiiise
And my status changed to
"  new card is being processed...."
Very blessed day thank Jesus

She is entitled to apply for citizenship. So, skip the green card things and apply for citizenship.

Affidavits normally carry little weight. A notary only verifies a signature, not that the content of the affidavit is true.  "A picture is worth a thousand words", they say.  That's why, in this instance, pictures together carry much more weight than a statement by friends.  Personally, I would not use affidavits as primary evidence.

Don't buy a ticket for her yet. I know that you really want to fly back with your wife. However, the risk is high. No matter how sure you are to get an approval for the visa, there is still a risk of denial. Even the visa is approved, there is lots of things can happen, such as the visa is not arrived before the date you decided to fly back, administrative processing (AP) after approval, required more documents (221g), misspelled name on visa and lots more risk. 

Depends on where you are. My status change to "interview was scheduled" on August 15. Received the letter in mail on August 20 and the interview is on September 24

It will be difficult for you. Just providing passport stamps and itenary is not sufficient to proof that both of you meet on that trip and spending time together. I really think you need to start again. They will not be satisfied until you provide what they want (pictures and messages). Why can't you took a picture together? I mean, if your religion prohibit to take a picture only two of you, can't you take a picture with him and few other people at the same time too?

Hi, just stated the current address. 

Your Visa appointment letter. The one you print from the US embassy website after you schedule the interview. Something like this. 

1) it is not compulsory
 
2) what type of Visa you afraid he will lose?
 
3) Go back to SSN and file for change name because of marriage. They will give you new SSN card with married name. I guess, using that card, she will be able to change her name in her ID and passport. I'm not doing spouse visa. I came here using K-1 Visa. Got married and change name. I provide my new SSN card copy with the new name. 
 
Aside from that, she doesn't need to change her name in passport to soon. Just go to SSN and change name to married name. File it using her married name and put her maiden name in her "other name used".
