I'm going to the US consulate in Johannesburg for my interview in a few days, and I'm wondering if I should plan on bringing a copy of my i-129 petition that was already approved. Some of the lists I'm seeing online say that I should plan to bring this form, along with all of the supplementary evidence that was submitted, but this wasn't on the list that I received from the consulate. Can anyone advise?

Thank you

No need a copy of your 129F form. Just bring all of your ongoing relationship evidences like pictures together, chat logs, call logs, travels.. etc. If you wish to fill out another copy of 129F form, you can use it as a reference for the incoming interview but CO or your interviewing embassy won’t be needing it as a requirement.

There is no need for that. I didn't bring mine when I have 😉 interview before.PhotoGrid_1533948028965.thumb.jpg.ff3b370690b8818f81106fe474e99664.jpg I got this list during my interview day.

I'm a little confused, your K1 or was K1 per your timeline (I 129F). #10 why would you a have a marriage certificate for a K1 interview? #15 and #16 I thought you only needed the i 134 for a fiance? i 864 is for a spouse. Is this just a broad letter sent out covering spouse and fiance visas?

Although you don't need a copy there is no way I would go without it after this loooong process. What if they need it? What if you want to take a look at it or your fiance just in case but dont have it? Just me.

They use the same listing for K-1 and spouse visa. For K-1, you need to have I-134.

Why they need it if they already got the whole package of your petition? You can bring it if you want. But, I didn't bring it.

They should not use the same broad request page for two different Visas, even the most prepared person has a lot to do and know so they just make this even more difficult. At this stage non of us need to be given instructions that includes request for items that we are not there for.
