Weirdest thing just happened! After hearing nothing since July 11th (when they reused my fingerprints) I finally cracked and tried to call USCIS for answers. At 1:07pm I called them and went through the automated phone for a case status update, then they hung up on me and I couldn't speak to an operator. One hour later I received an update that my card was being produced! ####### lol. Anyway, it's finally happening. Coincidence or not, worth trying. All the best everyone!

Finally some news! My case is 43***, so seems like I'm still a few off lol. Would be great if we could get some news soon, especially if we don't need to do an interview.

Thanks! Seems like a few people are getting quick turn around times for their biometrics. Mine was delivered 23rd, NOA 26th, so hoping to find out soon. Too bad the timing has me in Canada for a couple of months, so I'm going to have to fly down to San Francisco to do it once I get my dates
  10. Thanks

JulesOz got a reaction from vistajones in I-864 joint sponsor combined income
Hi everyone, hoping for some help with our situation:

My wife's parents are joint sponsoring me for my AOS. We are filing out the I-864 for my wife and then doing a separate I-864 for her mom and an I-864a for her dad who is part of the household. Her parents are self-employed and work together, filing a joint income tax return. My question is, under the income for her mother, do we state the entire yearly income between the two of them? If so, what do we put for her father's income?

Also, we are currently living with them at the same physical address, but my wife is considered part of her own household for tax purposes. On the I-864 it says: If you have siblings, parents, or adult children with the same principal residence who are combining their income with yours by submitting Form I-864A, enter the number here" Does that mean I can simply have her mom fill out the I-864a instead of an I-864?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I just had 2 a US based background checks in California for new jobs.  My DUI from 9 years years ago in Wyoming did not show up on either of them!
I did and would recommend to others to disclose, but its annoying that it didn't show after I stressed over telling them!

    In response to your message...
I would put everyday address down if you ever used that address for mail, bills etc..
Any address you have ever used will show up in their system I'm sure.
    Good luck!

I have lived in several places too (I had like 8). What I did was just type all your addresses on a word form, print it out and attach and fill in on the form please see attached form.
I had no RFE's and did not came up on the interview.

I ended up just attaching a separate form with everything on it. Just make sure you label it (Supplement for G325-A: Biographic Information) and include it in your cover letter. I also printed my name and signed every page, dated it, and put my DOB just to be safe. Fingers crossed it's okay- haven't heard anything yet beyond confirmation they got my petition!

    Good luck!

From what I've gathered on another post here the I-485 still requires the G-325A filled out the beneficiary (spouse).

As others have said it's always in your best interest to be completely honest and up front with USCIS. My husband had a drunk driving citation on his record that was about five years old at the time of his embassy interview and it was no problem at all. They are really focused on "crimes of moral turpitude" so be upfront about your mistakes and you should be fine

I would say that it is possible that everything can show up. If you think about it it can be a matter of security and safety of US citizen(s).

If, during those drunken incidents, you were screaming "Death to Americans", surely USCIS would be interested in the details of the case, even if it was minor charges. Best to disclose them because as you say, they are minor.

Just disclose them, they're minor anyways, and chances are USCIS isn't going to care for the offenses, but it'll work in your favor for being honest, even if it's not on record.

Good luck and I'm sure you'll do just fine  I don't have a record but the only reason why I mentioned that the officers would have our past application history is simply because I was asked a lot about things that were said and recorded from a previously rejected application (but not an adjustment of status process). I was in front of the officer thinking "Wow they know everything from before that even my brain doesn't remember them very clearly now!"
