Our interview was last Thursday 11/12 at 9:45 we got there :15 min, there were instructions not to get too early otherwise they wouldn't let people in due to the Covid-19 social distancing. Waited almost 2 hours but interview took around :20. All the lady did was to confirm dates and that was it, she said we should get the Card in 2 weeks more or less. Will keep everyone posted, good luck to everyone as well.

Card arrived a week later. We are ready to travel once again :)

I'm in Miami, FL. Just got our letter in the mail yesterday with an interview date. Although the website still says interview cancelled, we did receive an interview date!!!

Great news, I'm in Miami as well and received interview letter yesterday Oct 3rd. I believe yours is first. If not a problem please keep me posted on how things evolve, hoping everything goes smooth for you guys.

  4. I received a letter asking to re-submit form i-864. Unfortunately i put my wife's name on page 3 o 4 where i'm supposed to put the sponsor. On the letter they are asking to submit tax income for the latest year. being that we are on Jan 2020 does anybody know if I need to submit taxes for the year 2019 or do you guys think that if I submit the year 2018 taxes should be good enough. Thanks before hand.

    1. Is there a place where I can see the correct order of papers I need in order to submit them?
    2. Even though my now wife came into the country with the K1 Visa and we got married before the 90 days we have taken some time to do the next step (20 months). Is that ok? I am a US citizen. Or do I need to fill extra forms?
    3. Once the papers are filled if I understand the correct address to send them is Chicago? [YES] [NO]
    4. I heard somewhere I need to send 3 packages. (i-485-AOS) ( i-765 Employment) (i-131 Travel) is that correct?

    Thanks in advance.

In my experience, I didn't need the letter from the bank. They only asked for the letter from her employer. I took letters from the bank, bank statements etc anyway as you don't know what they might ask for, but it wasn't needed in my case.

The I-134 and the evidence is taken along and given in when you first get called to the window (well that's the process in London anyway).

    Awesome, thanks a lot.

  6. We got our interview scheduled for September 11 I can't wait.

I have all the papers ready, the only one that I'm missing is the bank letter. Do you guys know if printed statements are enough or do I need to have the letter for sure?

    Also does the form
I-134 needs to be submitted anywhere or just sign it and bring it to the interview?

    Thanks

  7. Yesterday I got an email from the Bogota Embassy

    +++++

    Good afternoon,

We have received the approved petition for your fiancé from USCIS.  Please respond to this e-mail and provide your fiancé’s personal e-mail address so we may send instructions on how to book a visa interview.   Thank you for your assistance.

    Sincerely,

    Immigrant Visa Unit

    Consular Section

I just reply to them now waiting to see what they send and curious if they will send just an email or a package as well. I just wanted to share.

Anyone waiting longer than expected for the NVC to supply a case number? Received NOA2 on June 1st, called NVC today and still nothing. So frustrating :(

Hello there, I received my NOA2 on May 17, and the NVC sent a letter to me June 9th with the date on their letter of received June 8th, now on the NOA2 they said it would take from 2 to 4 weeks so if everything is correct you should receive your letter July 8th or if not you can send them an email to review at nvcinquiryATstate.gov

    1. No do not use the maimi address as that's not where you're sending it.
    2. No, all I-129F packets are sent to the Dallas Lock box
    3. Yes, it has to be sent to the Dallas lock box.
    4. No they will not accept it, it has to be mailed to the Dallas lock box and be sorted and sent to either the Texas Service Center or the California Service Center as they are the ones that process the documents.

    Address for Dallas Lockbox.

Here is a copy of what my fiance letter of intent looked like.  I recommend heavily researching this process as you can't just do what's easier or quicker, you have to follow the red tape.

    Thanks A LOT!!!!!!

  11. I am writing the Fiancè Letter of Intent for me and my Fiancè my question is this I live in Miami and I see that the USCIS has an office here

Should I use that address for the letter?

Should I send the package there?

Does it matter what office you send it to?

Could I go in person and drop the package or does it have to be mailed in order to have evidence that it was sent?

    Thanks before hand
