Quick question for those who had the citizen interview. When they ask the civic, history, etc questions, is it multiple choice? Is there a book in front of you? Is there an iPad where you type or click the right question or you just have to tell the answer to to the USCIS officer, I want to know how it Is, haha my interview is next Wednesday and I am picturing that moment 🙂
There is no Multiple choice, you directly have to answer the right one. The iPAD is only used for reading and writing on it. hope this helps. Good luck tomorrow

Hello all, finally my Naturalization interview is done and the office was kind enough to offer same day Oath. Baltimore office.
I went in around 6:45 AM as my scheduled time was at 7 AM. I checked in and waited for around 20 mins and officer called my name.
Officer took me to the interview room asked my personal details, my eligibility for citizenship etc and proceeded to the Civics test.
Questions asked were:
1. What are two cabinet level positions?
2. What age can citizens vote?
3. What are the first three words of constitution?
4. Why does the flag have 50 stars?
5. Who makes Laws?
6. What month do we vote for the President?
Once these were answered correctly, we proceeded with Reading test; Officer asked me to read "Where is the White House located?" I read it.
For Writing, Officer read out; "White House is located in Washington DC".
Once this was done, Officer proceeded with the N-400 form with all answers. Change of address, what my job is, my job changes, wife's job and all basic yes/no questions.
Once these were done, Officer told I've passed tests and have been recommended for Approval and scheduled to offer same day Oath which I accepted.
I finished the Oath ceremony was done in 2 hours and now Im finally a US citizen. Hope this helps everyone and I will also upload a Youtube channel (Offbeat Travel) about my experience. Do watch, subscribe, like and help others going through this journey. (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCB-xVdlu1kXkSezGPXvxPw)

- Marriage certificate.
- Employee letter
- affidavit letter (From our aunt)
- Bank statements 2016 thru 2020)
- car titles
- health insurance cards (Me and my wife have the same plan)
- Mortgage statements
- House deed.
- Car insurance policies.
- My wife's passport copies (I applied based on 3 years)

I don't think you need to bring bank statements UNLESS you are applying for naturalization on the basis of having married a US citizen.
I got it from here #4 https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/guides/M-477.pdf
I did print out my tax returns to proof that I did them and don't owe any taxes. But it never got checked or mentioned during the interview. To be fair, when filling the N-400 (part 12, #6) it asked if you had anything overdue and I answered no.
Good luck on your interview!
Thank you I did get my IRS transcripts sent in by IRS. so will get some other docs to the interview as well

My interview is coming up in January. For the interview do we really need to take bank statements, etc as the list doesn't mention any of those or IRS tax transcripts should be enough. just making sure
- interview letter
- green card
- state id/license
- old new passports
- wife's birth certificate (since I filed in 3 year rule)
- marriage certificate (since I filed in 3 year rule)
- selective service registration letter
Anything else needed document wise?
-
I did have a question before my interview: in the MUST BRING list, it says letter related to Selective Service.
I came to US when I was 21 on an F-1 Visa and later was on H1-B Visa, I received my Green card when I was 27. So I think I didn't have to register as I was on an unexpired Non-Immigrant visa. Do we need any letter for this or just verbally stating that would be enough, can anyone who did their interview help out or with knowledge around this.

Hey guys, just got an update on my USCIS account saying my Interview has been scheduled. will wait for the letter in mail to see the exact date.
As of now letter is still not attached, hoping it will be there next week.
Good luck to all!
