That's really bizarre about the RFEs. I think an attorney told me that if you have kids together, you're automatically approved.

My package was delivered today and I am not expecting to hear back for a few days. Hopefully, sometime soon.

Just wanted to give a quick update:

Yesterday (November 9th), we received notifications that both I-130 and I-485 were approved on November 7th (one day after our interview). It hasn’t been updated to Card in Production yet, but, I think it should be updated to that tomorrow or day after. If anyone has any questions about our experience, please feel free to ask.

good luck to everyone still waiting.

Hi @Lucky_Mimi, sorry for the delayed response. How did your interview go? We were not asked for a new medical. We only had the one that we took with us to the interview.

Here's a link to our experience:

Hello everyone! We had our interview yesterday and just wanted to share the experience with everyone.

Our field office is Manhattan but, our case was moved to the Queens office and it explains the quick turnaround time. Our PD is 04/16/2019.

Our interview was scheduled for 2:30 PM at Federal Plaza and we arrived at 2:05, went through security and headed to the 9th floor (Queens Field Office) that sent us down to 4th floor. The room was full of couples and we were called in at 3:20 PM. The officer greeted us and it looks like he was exhausted and that we're his last interview for the day. He swore us in, asked for our IDs and sat us down, looked at the application then asked "How did you two meet?" and we weren't sure who he was asking and he said anyone can answer. So, I told him how he met and he commented that he usually sees couples 10, 15 and 20 years apart and good thing we were closer in age. Asked my wife the following questions:

    - When was the last time you came to the US?
    - What is his birth date?
    - What are his parents' names?
    - What does he do for a living?

Then turned to me and asked:

    - When is her birth date?
    - What are her parents' names?

Then he proceeded to ask the ridiculous Yes/No questions on the application then asked us to present our evidence and we presented the following:

    - Current Lease (My name only on it)
    - Joint bank account statements
    - Utility bills with both our names on them
    - Our insurance cards from my current and former job
    - Wife's medical invoices
    - Our run club membership letters
    - Our medical insurance correspondences

He then asked for our photo album and flipped through it asking us who some of the people were and about family. I was saying I hate taking pictures and he goes "Yeah, man, she makes you look good!"

He gave us a notice and said that he needs to review all the documents and make a decision and walked us out. As soon as we stepped out, my wife remembers that he didn't take her picture or fingerprints, so she told our attorney and he was able to go back and talk to the officer. We went back to the office and he said it'll take a second and just took her picture and fingerprints and sent us on our way.

I believe we were out of there at 3:40 (took about 20 minutes) and it was more of a conversation than an interrogation kind of thing. He was very funny and courteous. My wife was a little stressed out about the interview, but, he managed to make it a pleasant experience.

If anyone has any questions, please let me know. In the meantime, good luck to everyone who is still waiting. Hang in there and you'll be done in no time.
