I must agree. Turning on each other in the middle of a stressful period in your relationship isn't good. Sharing it with this community is even worse. Love made you begin this process and should sustain you thru it. Take a deep breath and remember why you began this journey together. Not everyone is forceful in follow-up calls to USCIS because they are afraid of saying the wrong thing and causing problems. Instead they choose to be patient and let things play out.
I'm not trying to disrespect you in any way. I hope for the best for you guys, but cut each other some slack and get back to your roots because if you don't, your relationship is going to die within sight of your goal.

Just think about what I said...good luck!!

Usually a Letter of Intent to deny is only issued to people who haven't met in person in the last two years or the Background checks turned up disqualifying criminal records etc. Example; A woman comes to the US on a tourist visa with friends and meets Her Fiance while traveling coast to coast then returns home. The American Fiance then files a petition on her behalf. Although legal, it sends red flags to USCIS because the Citizen never visits Her country, which never creates the paper trail that they can follow. Passport stamps, ticket stubs, pictures etc, are the backbone of the petitions. If the Citizen never visits Her and her family then USCIS will doubt the legitimacy of the relationship because no effort was made to understand who she is and where she comes from.

    Does that make sense?

I am may 15 also, But was un able to open case inquiry...I am un aware of any special access lawyers have..  The rules for what is and is not "within normal processing times" should apply to everyone regardless of having a lawyer or not... THIS PROVES that all cases are not being treated equally... I have watched some guys here defend uscis workers as tho they are beyond reproach...but frankly ive had enough...There is NO VALID REASON that may 30 should have so many approvals when there are so many  may 6 and may 15 still untouched... I am so sick of OVERPAID FEDERAL UNIONIZED WORKERS.
dont get me wrong im happy for everyone who gets approved and or processed...But im so sick of government agencies  that  claim more in pay and benefits than the value of the work they produce....
IT IS UNACCEPTABLE that one may15th case is able to file an inquiry when others of the same date are not.....The next person who defends uscis workers should have his or her head examined for having shat for brains....

When it comes to RFE's the fact is they have 60 days to review it once received. Telling people two weeks causes panic when it takes longer. For instance; I've heard this for the last 2 months+ and if the Adjudicator is a lazy, uncaring POS they can sit on it until the time runs out just because they can....In other words, anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months depending on the Adjudicator. Don't mean to be a downer but those are the facts.

I understand. I just gave an example that everything could have many and many variables to be studies, not that they really care. The fact that I lived in the US with j1 visa may have helped. Will never know I guess

I think you two should take this off of the forum as this shouldn't be displayed amongst others in the group.

We don't need to be in your business when this doesn't pertain to USCIS/visa related issues. You should not argue/have this "type of discussion" for others to see. There's enough tension going on that this should not be added in our thread; especially when it has nothing to do with none of us.

    Just some advice!
