hahahahah thats so cute how you created a bingo game of guess for yourself. and thanks
no way? really? Last I researched this, the reason why people take a while from NOA2 to Interview was because of the time people needed to gather their documents prior to the interview such as: CENOMAR, Birth Certificate, NBI Clearance, I134 Affidavis of Support (and supporting Documents) etc.
My fiance and I already gathered those documents when I visited her last June. (I visit every three months) and yes I love the philippines too
Last I looked it was 27 days til consulate receives petition, another 43 til interview on avg. but that was last week.

Hopeful to hear from USCIS and get an NOA2 before I visit my fiance in the Philippines on 08/23. Staying there for 4 weeks, and hopefully IF we do get an NOA2, I'll be able to accompany her to St. Lukes Medical Center and the US Manila Embassy.
It's been averaging approximately 70 days from NOA2 to interview lately, but you never know.
Good luck and enjoy your trip. I LOVE the Philippines.

Hey all!
Hope everyone is doing well and hanging in there! I was just wondering does anyone know how long you have to wait until you can leave America once getting married. We've had a change of circumstances and basically we'll just be getting married in a Vegas Chapel and then sending everything off ASAP but then I need to come home to collect my dog ASAP because I'll miss him!
When you file your AOS you also file a AP( advance parol) which allows you to leave and renter while AOS is adjudicated over the next year. The AP takes about 2-3 months to receive I think.

It's very easy to get frustrated at this point. Good luck to you and I hope your other issues get worked out satisfactorily. I've been in a funk myself lately. I had a blast of hope when people started getting electronic notification on Thursday but it was short-lived. I was lifted to see the notification that @Unshakable Faithreceived a transfer (I hope that's good). Friday it seemed to be back to death by a 1000 paper cuts.
Here's to hoping and praying that someone from April gets some good news this week.

Yes my fiance was shock too and same thing he said of it being illegal he said there you can give resignation letter and not report after.
How did you know they are processing April 4 cases? Received or notice date? That could be great if April 4 received date 😁😁😁
Timeline graph states that but I can't verify that on my phone

Oh yes in my work too 30 days notice and another 60 days to get paid for my resignation. That is actually what I was thinking that's why sometimes I want to resign already
I was shocked when she told me how long it takes. That's illegal in the states. Funny thing is I wanted her to resign sooner because I thought we would be waiting for packpay to move haha, but should be perfect timing now that things slowed down. BTW looks like they are processing April 4 petitions now.

Faye's last day at Call Center is Aug 10. Takes 60-90 days to get back pay. Plus it gives her the freedom to schedule appointments

Oh, do you mean their real names are not Joe and Jane?
That was a great example of the things we have to put up with, that's for sure. You can also get often the "Why didn't you look for a local guy?", if you ever dare to say you miss your other half. So yeah, excuse me, but I wasn't looking for anyone anywhere, it just happened. We didn't even meet on a dating site, just FB. We live in a global world now, so this happens. Period. And I'm very happy it happened, even with all the hard times and now the waiting, because you don't give up on 'the one' just because it's difficult and someone closer would be easier.
So yep, let's keep dealing with this, because it's worthy. And then who cares if it's 5-10 more years dealing with USCIS and the like of them. It will be much easier because a. you don't have to be apart from your loved one and b. you can still lead a normal life... not like right now, if you are the beneficiary. As I mentioned before, for me right now it's not only the waiting, but having my life on hold, because I've been applying for jobs and getting calls back, then it turns out all of them are looking for someone available for a permanent position, so "sorry, it wouldn't work". And I understand that and my "thank you for calling anyway" is completely sincere but, yeah... life on hold. Once I'm there, that it's over
Funny thing is that when I was 14 my Dad married his sweetheart from his days in Air Force. One day he came back from vacation married to a woman from Madrid, Spain...I thought that was strange at the time, but they've been happily married and retired in Barcelona for the last 17years. So in a way, you can say I was being groomed for this a long time ago.

The whole process from NOA1 to Citizenship should be closer to 5 years. 10 years means someone didn't get vinegar with their chips.
Citizenship is 5 years, but in our case we may have to renew the green card, unless we can figure out how to receive the dual citizenship without losing our home in the Philippines while applying after she becomes a US citizen. Non citizens in the Philippines cannot own property and we plan on retiring there in 15 to 20 years.

My family isn't that curious either, but I have a good friend that always asks me how things are going and if we've heard anything yet. I tell him not yet and quickly explain the process, and he's amazed.
He encourages me daily and tells me " just think, a few more weeks and it's over. I have to laugh. I told him "this part yes, but it's not over. It's not the end, but it is the end of the beginning." We will all be dealing with the USCIS for the next 5-10 years in one form or another. But by the grace of God and good friends met here, we'll all make it.
LDR's will soon be over my friends...
God Bless you all!!

Anyone else have a splurge of sorting out their clothes at the moment and decide what your going to be taking with you when you move.. or is that just me? lol.. literally sorting through one draw at a time, one draw last weekend and one draw this weekend, drag it out a bit lol.
Only just realised how many clothes I have.. quite worrying lol. Not even started on shoes yet oh jeez haha.
Making me far to excited to be moving.
Happy Sunday all! what's everyone up to? x
I'm just having my Faye box up everything she wants to bring and we are shipping it over two weeks before flight. That way we can travel light with carry on bags only.

I could be wrong, but the way it looked to me on case tracker; when I searched 150 cases around my number with 129 filter on. As it's scrolling through them loading, you can see where more is being said than just received, but when it finishes they all switch to default case received. I then selected the little scribe icon in the upper right of the app and it went into a detailed list of each showing those with RFE's and the like.
Yep I'm wrong. Includes others even with 129f selected.

I know one thing. I have nothing but respect for those of you that prepared your petitions yourself. I hired FianceVisa service to prepare mine because I work to long and I didn't want to be tired and overlook anything. That being said; If I do get an RFE it's my fault in the supporting evidence I included. No pressure there huh
I want an approval so I can breathe again!!
-
They have to be close though...RFE's all around my case number but nothing 25 before or after ( but then they pick up again well after my number). So hopefully that's a good sign.
Did see where someone's case was rejected because they used an old form that is no longer accepted..That sucks!

I have similar cases turned on(ios app) it tells me that people update their profile but when I check it I don't see any changes.

Congrats!!
I also got the app notification and I was thinking "Ok, March 25 looks promising..." I thought I would see about it on the Marchies thread, so great to see it falling here
And the case tracker is working today apparently So who knows what else can happen from now on?
I want to say congratulations! Not sure it's not actually a March approval but very cool
