We received this in email from our state senator. still no update in uscis saying that we have been aproved though so don`t rely on the website.

Join the crowd :jest: Hang in there ... maybe good news comes soon. This whole waiting thing is a drop in the bucket compared to what is to come ... unless of course your fiance is Russian ... then maybe two drops in the bucket after diplomats sent home. I am over it ... is what it is takes what it take.

That's the first thing that crossed my mind when Putin gave them the boot. Hope you're unaffected my friends.

Read that too and i don't know if it's different from each country but from the same person I asked who had just her medical last week she said its just 4. Tdap, Varicella, MMR and influenza

Yes the varicella is a two stage vaccine, the second is given Stateside prior too AOS. Might be a three stage anti-cervical cancer shot given to women under 24 as well, first administered there then remaining Stateside over next year.

I completely can relate to that, from the crying to the frustration that comes from the uncertainty and impotence of knowing there's nothing you can do, especially now things are not even a matter of being left behind, but everything getting delayed for everyone.

Actually I was just having some (sad) thoughts on the fact we chose the K1 option because, even if more expensive and putting limits to travel and work for a while once there, our first priority was to be together as soon as possible after life preventing us to do so for a long while.

I'm sure that was the main advantage everyone saw on the fiance visa versus the spouse one: saving time.

It turns out now CSC shows the same processing times for both types and someone mentioned today seeing RFE's for i130 petitions for the same March dates they are working for i129's...

So I'm having a moment of weakness and just feeling sad and fooled. Gloomy me thinks that's just our luck, since things were always the hardest longest way for us... Sorry my bad luck was contagious :P

Of course, come to this point it's just a matter of endurance, because these four months have to count and they are not going to waste. And of course, all the months (that amount into years now) waiting, have allowed us to get to a complete understanding of this relationship, with the good and the bad. It turns out to be some kind of double edge sword situation... Knowing the good overcomes the bad by far and the love you share for each other worths everything... But missing someone as much and having to wait when you already lost half of your life alone, that sometimes everything seems dull and unbearable :(

Yep, getting sentimental here. My bad! :P;)

Actually I just wanted to say I hope you have a great time visiting and you are back full of energy, love and optimism :)

BTW, Gary's birthday is in September too

If it wasn't for a ten day waiting period for a marriage license in the Philippines, we would have gone the spousal route. I can't take that long of a vacation at work (ten day max)

Hello all...first to all thanks for the uplifting and sympathetic words after my previous post! For some reason VJ did not alert me that anybody replied so I just saw now. Also thanks to those who explained how the trackers work! I went in there and put in a scan for 500 K1 cases around my received date (April 4). And bad news....an RFE bomb just dropped! 6 in the past few minutes, I wonder if more will come...so far I don't see my case number, but hopefully nobody here on VJ is affected...sorry to anyone who does get one. Praying and wishing and hoping for good news....

I'm still trying to figure that case tracker out lol. I also searched 500 before and never left my date 4/10/17.

RFE's suck but were they for the 4th?
