You bet!
The only thing you can't get now is your petitioners most recent pay stubs. Everything else can be gathered while waiting for NOA2 .
Then once you get your NVC# schedule your interview then medical a week or so before that date. Do not schedule med during "red days" or it will be rescheduled.

That makes much more sense to me. The NVC is organized and USCIS is a hodge podge. Seems to fit the pattern from everyone so far.
I'm just a trucker but I think we can fix the system very easily. The problem is it's Govn designed and maintained.
all we need is to take 100 14 year olds, get them off their XBox's long enough to redesign the system. The plus is it will only cost the taxpayers the cost of the pizza and Mountain Dew.

Each of the 13 digits in a USCIS receipt number has a specific purpose.
WAC 11 012 50960
WAC - California service center
11 - fiscal year ( government agencies use a fiscal year that is different from the calendar year. It begins on October 1 and ends on September 30 )
012 - this set of digits indicates the computer workday that the case was opened...the computer workday is basically the same thing as a workday. Therefore it excludes most weekends and holidays. Our example case was opened on the 12th workday of the 2011 fiscal year (October 18, 2010)..
50960 five digits is the case number.
Well there you have it, perfect explanation. Now if you can help them design a computer system that works and updates; that would be great!

Okay, so if you don't mind, school me on this whole case number thing. How do you decipher the case number? Mine ends in 4315, so is that april 3rd, 15th case?
No. That's coincidence. Mine ends in 8521 and I'm April 13

I used to own a house near Nellis. I've worked on the Nevada Test Site in various locations. I could tell stories but when I left they gave two numbers to remember. 10 & 10... 10 years in prison and 10 thousand dollar fine.
You don't have to tell us but when you moved, did you build a bunker lined with tin foil, and fill it with non-perishable canned food? That would fill in the blanks.

Now two months later that estimate has dropped 6 weeks to mid October. It has been dropping 2 days each day for the last week. I am hoping for 6 months but some people think closer to 9 months for the NOA2. I am a bit more optimistic than that. I do believe NOA1 to interview will be pushing a full year soon.
Too bad they don't have to wait till petitions are at NVC to cash their check huh.

I went looking for a breakdown of which cases each center handled but didn't find anything worth quoting. I know they moved some of the other cases that CSC was handling to the Nebraska Service Center back in May because of the growing backlog.
Anything other than K1 / CR1 and family visas. My AOS will be out of Kansas City, Mo by my understanding.

If that's coming from the CSC that's been their line all along. In May they were telling the February filers that they were working on November and December.
Yes it was CSC... still have to wonder why they are handing 95% of all cases. What is TSC and VSC doing then?

I just read where a June filer was told 6 months to NOA2. Alleged backlog of six months.
Obviously deciding to run everything from "the people's republic of California " wasn't a good idea!

Wish me luck that all goes well!Well done! I'm giving it one more week before I send my letter. I got one find the excuse of a 2010 Haitian earthquake to be ludicrous and insulting.
This slow down clearly coincides with the Supreme Courts decision to uphold parts of Trumps travel ban/ extreme vetting, and is a form of protest by USCIS....my opinion only.

That's ok! Any progress is good at this point!
I appreciate being able to know where we stand in this whole process. I'm just terrified now that we will get an RFE. My conspiracy theorist brain is slightly thinking they are sending RFEs to buy them more time haha but I'm pretty sure that's crazy talk.
It's not crazy talk, this is the U.S Govn we are dealing with.
also the reason I won't play my Senator ace card right now, afraid of a retaliatory RFE!

Lol, thank you, reporter
I think that's the received date though. Well, it's a personal choice when creating your case on the app, but I used received date
I think they actually go off received date. Every app and Govn list uses received.

Oh in that case go for it. You've shown compliance to the rules so an NOA2 shouldn't matter. Good luck!
I'm very jealous right now. The chances of my Filipina Fiancé getting a tourist visa is between 0 and are you kidding me. Basically don't even think about it!

Question to everyone that knows!
My fiance(petitioner) is a September baby too! We had plan a trip to LAX to meet up on his birthday, crossing my fingers that by that time we already have the NOA2 is there any problem with me entering the USA?
Im still working so I will have a letter from my company stating that I have to come back
Plus a returning ticket already purchased
What do you guys think?
Honestly I think it would be easier to have him come down to Mexico. They will scrutinize your visit very hard. But who knows lol
