    Applicants for ANY US visa may be flagged for AP. Getting an interim visa while in AP doesn’t eliminate or correct the reason for the extra vetting.

    Not sure what your question is. Your visa has not been approved, so there’s nothing to do for now. You’re in administrative processing, which could last for many months or longer.

    We did not. Some here will advocate sending the kitchen sink for ROC. Ours was minimalist. We showed pics at our AOS interview, because the officer asked for them.

    That income is marginal for a family of 4 to live on in the US. Potential income of the immigrant is not considered in the calculation, but your wife’s ability to work in the US as a CPA could be viewed positively as part of the totality of circumstances.

    What do you mean? How would you take your wife to the US without a visa? She will need the green card to work.

    You will need to show evidence of having actually moved to a new state. Simply getting hold of an address and applying like that is not adequate.

    Certified copies are considered to be originals. For most vital statistic type documents (MC, birth and death certs), the owner of the document is the jurisdiction where it is filed, such as your county or state. I would get an actual certified copy (vs a photocopy or electronic copy). It will have a seal of the county clerk (or similar) in wet ink.

    Because it's based on the totality of circumstances, not just raw numbers. You won't know until after the interview if they want a joint sponsor. I may be wrong, but I get the impression Manila does not often ask for one.

    Not sure how you could get a certified copy of a document that is not owned by some vital records jurisdiction in the US? Maybe the Lebanon embassy can certify it?

    Did you do much research into the details of the K-1 before petitioning? Fiance will not be able to leave/return to US or work until the AP/EAD documents are in hand, which can take up to 8 months when filed for concurrently with the greencard application. Major drawback to that visa vs a spousal visa.
