Good day, everyone. It's been a long time since I've been on here. I have a question. Where do we file our N- 400? Are we eligible to file online?
-
Hello everyone. Is this a vawa thread for those who have their green card? I haven't filed yet for my n 600. However, I am curious to where are we supposed to file N 400 ? Are we able to file online?

Instead of going for a long route of advance parole please contact you local congressman office so that he can inquire on your behalf
Ok I'll look into that. How would you word a request for them to find out your status on your green card

Good day all. It's been a long time since I've been on here. But my vawa was approved and I finally got my green card. My daughter did too. The thing with that is they miss spelled her name and I returned it and filed i90 we had biometrics done last year August. And it's going on 2 years now that I sent back her green card for their error on her name. I want to travel out of the country and thinking the best thing to do is renew her advance parole. Does anyone have any experience on a situation like this. Having an approved green card (including letter) and having to return it because of a spelling error and traveled out of the country while waiting on the corrected green card to arrive? Or is it just best to renew her advance parole to travel on?

Your cousin can apply for a visitor visa to visit the US.
If you are talking about bringing him as an immigrant to live in the US through you, it could be possible indirectly but it's going to take 25-30 years or so.
It's a she and ok

Hello,
I have an aunt who was here on a 6 month tourist visa visiting her fiancé (now husband), originally she was just here to visit but they ended up getting married. Prior to their marriage she overstayed her visa.
She’s getting mixed information about whether she should apply for AOS and wait it out with her now husband or is there another application that must be submitted first since there’s an over stay of over 5 months?
All helpful responses is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Yes apply for your adjustment of status and your Green card ASAP

Hi guys i just wanted to ask if anyone has a clue why a scenario like this would happen.
im a 2017 nyc filler
Vawa approved 2019 aug.
i485 transferred to local office 2019 aug too.
but now the update on i485 doesnt indicate that it has been transferred to local office.
and it says “Correspondence Was Received And USCIS Is Reviewing It. “ this was the message i had before my i485 was transferred to my local office.
what can trigger the update on file to roll back?
any clue?many thanks
It happened to me.. completely blanked out the exact same day I received the email notification that actions have been taking on my case I checked it out it showed all the updates and approval for my i485 then in 2 hours tops it said can't show case status at this time. And it hasn't shown that my case has been approved ever since just interview was cancelled and correspondence has been mailed to me.. but today I got my daughter i485 approval letter. So I know we are in fact approved. I worried all weekend.. but I read that the system went down.. last week.. so that could be the answer

Hey good morning everyone. So I got a notification from my account and it's good news .. my card is being produced and I'm only waiting on an update to my daughter.. it's finished.. all praises to The Most Hight God through CHRIST .. it's finished.. my case is unique and I'd love to share it with others but please don't judge me.. if anyone wants to know let me know . I'm a may 2018 filer and I got my VAWA approved in January.. I originally had a interview in ky in September but it got cancelled and moved to Virginia where I now live.. when they rescheduled my interview they added my daughter to join in as I filed for her i485 when my VAWA was approved in January.. thank you all.. I really appreciate you all encouraging words still willing and especially Sandra. She initially gave me the right information and the boost 3+ years ago when I was pregnant depressed and fled home with nothing but 2 suitcase.. I'm now in school hoping to become an immigration attorney to help people like us as there seem to be a lack of compassionate attorneys who blindly Rob us.. but catholic charities and Sandra are but the few who actually show us the love and compassion we need when we are at our lows.. hope one day I can proudly represent clients and form a bond with those who are in a situation like all of us was in. Like I said my situation is different and I'd love to share with those who would want to.. just know it's not a simple journey but one we can overcome

Good morning everyone.. so my daughter and I just got done with our interview and I was handed a paper saying that I've just completed my interview.. and uscis is unable to complete my case at this Time. My case is being continued until a final decision has been made.. and the reason for continuance she selected the first box that says . Your case is being held for further review. They don't require anymore information or document and I'll receive a notice in the mail if they do and that they may schedule me for another interview otherwise a final decision will be mailed to me once my case is complete.. I tried sending a picture but it's not allowing me to upload it..
I have no idea what that means.. so I'm her in the parking lot updating you guys cause I'm nerves as always

Good day everyone.. so I finally got the letter from USCIS and it simply said my interview was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.. today I received a letter from USCIS again this time it was from a office in the state I now reside in.. and they scheduled an interview for both myself and my daughter.. she wasn't in my initial filing because she was back in our home country with her father. He sent her back to me back in July of 2018 and I filed her i485 in January of this year. And 2 months ago her ead and advance parole was approved.. I guess they cancelled it in KY to transfer it here in VA to include her and as well as having it done in the state I'm in .. our interview is scheduled for october 21 .. I'm so relieved.. it wasn't at all hard to file for her, I included my approved VAWA .. All thank to Sandra.. also thank you all for all of the support and encouragement.. I will keep you posted.. I'll also answer anyone who have any questions about including their children the way I did..

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to file my petition this weekend. I went to my lawyers office yesterday to review the file and they completely messed it up. They included duplicate pages, outdated forms, even managed to mess up I-360!! They incorrectly filled it out and I had to catch so many errors. The lawyer doesn’t review the file, only the paralegal, who it terrible. All this time I only had 1 hour call with the lawyer and she doesn’t respond to my emails. They also included black and white pictures of my injured leg...which is the whole point to see colors of the bruises. They told me if I want colored I should print it out myself. My leg looks completely normal on the picture they printed out. I am going back to their office today to re-review the package. Do you recommend to get rid of G-28 form and just file on my own? What are the advantages/disadvantages of having a lawyer? Did anyone have a similar situation and what did you do?
Try the catholic charities in your area they are pro-bono or sliding door.. I had a great experience with the one in louisville Ky but not all Catholic charities are equal.. the one here in Newport news Virginia aren't so welcoming.

The paper notice gave an interview date and time????? In this instance I would still attend, and let them turn me away. I have read that this occurred and then people received denial notices due to missed interview.
Yes I got the letter in the mail with the interview date and what to bring with me. I will update everyone on what this notice says when I get it

As other experts suggest, it might simply be a CIS error. Please be there for interview. Even better if you get GC approval notice without interview. Please hold on to your faith. Sooner than later you will have the magic card in your hand.
My interview was due Sept 23 so I'll have to play the waiting game from here. We'll see one I get the notice. Hopefully the best case scenario happens and I get my green card that'll ideal

Yeah I got a notification from my USCIS account saying so and it gave 3 reason as to why they did it

May be they don't have time slots available 😞
Yeah I think maybe my interviewer got reassign, sick, low staff idk.. I'm praying it's not the worst case scenario denial 😭

Did you ever receive the paper interview notice?????
Yes I did. So I'm kinda disappointed 🙈. I'm glad to be in this forum.. you all cheered me up

I will encourage you to not stay fixated on the worst case scenario. If you filed since 2018, you deserve to receive the best. People have received their GC without interview, why not you? Please stay positive and believe it can only get better.
Hold strong.
Thank you I will try.. 💜

I always say the mind is very powerful..careful how you use it. Lose the negative mindset..stop imagining the worst. Think only positive things..believe same also. Our words are powerful too..remember-:careful what you wish for..you just might get it! Stay prayed up..it's not everything you leave to chance! At this point let's see what they're up to next. You just might be pleasantly surprised..how about that?💁
I agree wholeheartedly.. just feeling like " what's next!!!" Just wish they'd divulge a little bit more information on these notices in our accounts instead of being vague.. like let me know if it was reschedule, need additional information, denial or wavier for interview and green card will be mailed 🤦🏾♀️.. This information is worst than no information.. waiting on the paper notice knowing that it's multiple possiblites are a killer

OMG! 😲 👎bubble busters those lots! Party poopers! What can I say to make it better? This is truly depressing! But I hope they simply issue your GC without the damn interview! People's lives are literally on hold! Really sorry about this dear. Still praying for you. All things work together for good!🙏
IDK at this point.. my mind if fixated on the worst case scenario. It was just too good to be true I guess.. the weird thing is, it's not like I'm a head of schedule, I filed May 2018, so it's been over 2 years.. I highly doubt that I'll get my green card without my interview, I've never been that fortunate to have something of this magnitude handed to me.. honestly, I already felt like I was going to get a hard time from the interviewer 🤷🏾♀️😔.

Wow! So inspiring! Thank God it's moving along dear!😊✊
Yes it truly is.. what's so amazing too Is that when my i360 got approved my i485 got that same priority date November 2015 I was shocked and floored , I knew that meant that it would help speed up my process.

@Islanderk hi congratulations! Im wandering your 360 approuval was Jan 31, when did you submit the file? Did you submitted jointly I360 amd I475 or dis you have this last one on hold from other case.?
Thanks a lot and good luck!
Yes they were filed jointly. A whole new case from what my husband and I filed in November of 2015, that was a complicated situation.. I went back home during my pending status, had an interview later that year and my green card was approved however because I left the USA without an advance parole I abandoned my process so while the interviewing officer approved it he had to speak to his supervisor and I got in the mail that they denied it because I left the USA without an advance parole. back in May of 2018 Catholic charities submitted both i485 and i360, my i360 was approved January 03.

VAWA, Part 27
in Effects of Major Family Changes on Immigration Benefits

Thank you. Do you know if my child who is included on my vawa and has her green card will be eligible to get her neutralization along with myself?
