AOS from a B1/B2 will have an interview. If he won't attend, then it's pretty much guaranteed the case will be denied. Upon denial, she will have no legal status in the US, and it's possible they will issue a Notice To Appear (NTA).
 
This filing remains in her history, so just staying in the US until she marries somebody else will jump out as a big red flag of marriage fraud in the future. Returning to her home country and, if she eventually meets somebody new, would be viewed more favorably IMO.
 
Depending on numerous circumstances, upon exit she could receive a 3 or 10 year bar on a future visa for overstaying by at least 180 days. The 180 days is after the I-94 expired and does not include time while AOS was filed. If she has and uses/used AP at some point, then the time would only start to accrue after AOS is denied.
 
Why would she want to stay with a guy that is trying to extort money from her? Cut the losses...this is not a good place to be.

I'm a K-1 so I did not have a PD, but my case was received April 24th.
Never got the EAD/AP, I received my green card about two weeks ago.

I received my green card in the mail yesterday!

He only needs to include final divorce decrees for all the divorces in his petition. No need for marriage certificates.

Finally received the welcome letter, AOS approved and now waiting for the 10 year green card, hope they won't make a mistake and send the 2 yr conditional or else we
will have to send it back.

Numerous service requests, infopass, tier 2 calls, Ombudsman, senator were useless. I contacted another senator last week and that did it finally.
IO said it would take 2-4 weeks after the interview to get approved but it turned into a year's wait instead.
Just thrilled to be done with AOS and off to naturalization next.

Ugh, it's awful that they aren't consistent. Reading through the SSA manuals, it states that they are to accept a legal name change document (i.e. a marriage certificate) so long as it is issued after the last form of identity documentation. I was ready for a fight but the lady was really nice and knew what she was doing (praise the flying spaghetti monster!).

They refused to change my name on it just with the NOA1 without EAD.

Victory! They refused to issue the card in the new name with only the I-94, passport, and marriage certificate. But when asked for the EAD, we gave the lady the NOA1s. I also had about 25 pages of SSA policy manuals ready to go. It took her a while (no hassles with us...just lots of typing and searching), but they finally got it through in the married name.

Building credit has nothing to do with the type of SSN you have. This is a common misconception. I was building credit even before I had a SSN at all. You should however update your GC to remove the sentence about authorization only for other reasons. It will be less confusing for employers for example when you provide your card to them for verification and also wherever else you show it.
 
(also about what the banker said - the new more secure SSN's don't "verify" on your credit report so what your banker told you doesn't apply to you - that doesn't affect your credit in one bit, it's just part of a more secure way of generating the SSN's that make it so the old programs don't work, and therefore aren't used, anymore)

Since a couple of weeks, i haven't been able to use VJ on my phone through safari as is keeps redirecting me to phishing sites after a short time.At first it works sometimes but when i try to click on a different forum or switch to next page of a topic it suddenly brings me to game sites or those one who tell you you've won an iphone etc. this only happens when i try to use VJ on my phone and it's the only website my phone does that on. Can i do anything to make it stop?
