For folks who filed I751 at VSC, the processing time is now 11.5 to 17 months and as per their processing time, they are working on case filed on and after Jan 11,2019.
I'm not sure how accurate these processing time are? My I751 case has been transferred to NBC from VSC on Feb 4, 2020 after done with N400 biometric appointment on Feb 03,2020 and since then nothing happened? I have also involved my congressman last week to inquire on my I751 case so not sure what else do I need to do?My 18 months extension letter is going to be expired in July and as per my understanding the local USCIS Albany, NY field office do not take walks in and appointment for stamps. I contacted Tier2 officer last week as well and was told that my case is still at NBC and have jurisdiction on my case as to whether they will approve it or send it to local field office (Albany, NY)

Hello All,
I am in the same situation. Filed I751 back in January 2019, and the case was received in Feb 7th 2019. Then I also filed N400 in January 2020. We received a notice on Jan 28th 2020 that our I751 was transferred to NBC for faster processing (not sure what that means). Since then nothing. So we have been waiting for the I751 for 16 months, and or N400 for 5 months. Should I keep waiting or should I file an SR to see what is going on? Our local office is Tampa.
Best Regards
Jonny Eser
I am in exact same situation. I751 case transferred to NBC earlier Feb,2020 and since then nothing happened yet. I am assuming both N400 and I751 case will be adjunct at the same time and who knows when? I will have to contact USCIS office in July or August incase if I don't hear anything from them to get my passport stamped for another extension

Hi, I am in the exact same situation here! Hang in there! Filed in Jan 2019, at WAC. The last update I got was a month ago letting me know they transferred my case, but they don’t say where and of course they “send “ the notice which I never received.I had to wait until a few days ago to be able to file a request for missing the transfer notice. Extension letter expires in August and I also filed for N400 in feb this year. It seem to take forever, but hopefully they will Take action soon on our cases.
Dude my case has been transferred to NBC from Vermont Centre more than 3 months ago and still no response. USCIS is a joke and I dnt get how they process cases?I see alot of folks filled in September 2019 got their cases approved

On March 18, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services temporarily suspended in-person services at its field offices, asylum offices, and Application Support Centers (ASCs) to help slow the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
USCIS offices will reopen on April 7 unless the public closures are extended further. Employees in these offices are continuing to perform mission-essential services that do not require face-to-face contact with the public.
just receive this even my Interview is on April 28th.
what do you mean by just receive this? Did you get email from USCIS? I never got anything like that

It sounds like you will get a combo interview, correct. It does not sound like they approved your expedite request. If you live in the US you are free to move any time, you can send a AR-11 to them to update your address and your case will be moved to the new local office.
I was hoping that USCIS would expedite my case but they did not and now I seek out help from our Congressman to see if he could do something about it? My wife moved to Texas last month due to her job and also we are expecting a second child due in May, 2020 and her doctor suggested for cesarean delivery. If that is case, she wont be able to travel for a while and unfortunately I cant move to Texas for next 6 months due to my commitment with employer

Hello Guys,
After submitting for expedition request based on Humanitarian ground for both I751 and N400, this is what I got from USCIS today:
The status of this service request is:
Recently, you contacted us about the status of your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, filed on January 15, 2019. On January 12, 2020, you also filed a Form N-400, Application for Naturalization. Our records indicate that your Form I-751 and Form N-400 are currently pending and will be adjudicated at the same time.Does that mean, I will get combo interview for I751 and N400? If yes, My local office in Albany,NY wont schedule Interview until they received I751 file from NBC? how does that work? I want to be done with this immigration process so I can move to TX to join my family

Thanks all for valuable suggestion. I have already requested for expedition just to give a shot! Will see if they even consider it. My problem is my wife wont be able to travel for a while after giving birth. I'm still hoping for the best. Either way I wont mind the outcome of expedition request!

No reason to expedite. Just change your mailing address with USPS and USCIS.
I cant move to Texas until next year due to my job assignment. I will be taking 2 months leave to take care of my wife and kids.

I don't understand the basis for an N400 expedite (do they even do that??), under 'humanitarian grounds'? Are you not an LPR and already residing in the US?
I am LPR and currently residing in Albany,NY while my wife and son in Texas. The basis would be my wife expecting a second child and giving birth in Texas while I will be with her for 2 months during that time. She wont be able to travel during that time due to complication related to child birth.

Hello VJ Member,
I have contacted USCIS customer service today for expedited request for my I751 and N400 based on humanitarian ground. My wife (US Citizen) just moved to Texas for her job last week and we are expecting second child (end of May,2020). She move there, so her family can take care of both of our child. I have asked for expedition request so they can schedule my I751 and N400 interview before May, 2020 , this way I wont miss any correspondence with USCIS while gone for two months to take care of my wife and our child and also my wife wont be able to travel due to some complication related to child birth . What are my chance of approving expediting request from USCIS based on our situation?

It's not as big a deal as some might suggest. There are few things to consider here.
- Reason for the move
- How long is the move for
- The evidence you have otherwise to support you have a bonafide relationship
For 1) Moving because of school is fine, but there should be a reason why your spouse can't move. A good reason could be because of their job. Lot of spouses live separately because of school, so I don't see the problem here.
2) As long as the move is temporary (which in your case it is), I think it is fine.
3) Probably the most important piece. You should really strong evidence otherwise that you have a bonafide relationship. Both your names should be on both your leases in the two places you live. On top of that, the usual bank account, insurance, beneficiary, utility bills etc. If you own a house under both your names, that should work very well.
You will most likely get an interview, however this isn't a big deal IMO that it will be a major problem in the interview.
I'm in kind of similar situation. My wife (US Citizen)and son move to another state just recently because of her job and family live in that state and and we are expecting second child soon so my in laws could baby sit both of our kids. My I751 case is in process and I recently filled for N400 and I will move there permanently as soon as I'm done with immigration process (probably takes 6 to 9 months). I did not want to move now two reason. mainly because of my job assignment and secondly, I moving to another state while my paperwork in pending would further delay immigration process. Do you think that would be problematic?

EAC190054xxx here. Literally all of the cases (500 before and 500 after) have movement of some sort on theirs, but mine still says “case was received”.
I filed my n400 on the 28th of January, and have my biometrics on 18th February, so I’m hoping that will prompt a case transfer and I can be done with USCIS in May (the date that USCIS estimates to complete the n400).
I had the same case status until I filled my N400 online and all of sudden my case transferred to local office and I think I will get combo interview and done with this process.
My prediction would be same for you since you already filed N400 while your I751 process in pending

I751 case outside normal processing time
in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
Posted
Hello VJ Members,
I have filed I751 at VSC on Jan 11,2019 and as per USCIS Vermont service centre processing time today, they are processing case that are filed on Jan18,2019 which means that my case is already outside normal processing time. I have already submitted service request for I751 to inquire whats going with my case?My case has been transferred to NBC on Feb 04,2020 after completing N400 biometric on Feb 02,2020.
What happen once you submit service request for case outside normal processing time?Would that actually help in triggering pending cases to approval or for interview? Can someone with a similar experience shed a light as to what we could expect from USCIS?
Thank you
