  1. Italian TV does what the MSM in the US will not: Tell the truth
  2. Here is another similar thread from a couple years ago. Note the replies from @aaron2020 and @pushbrk, who is, in my opinion, the source for all things I-864....and more.
  3. That's OK. That is correct as far a the count. Thus, not required to be part of their household. I don't see an issue. Joint Sponsorship is quite normal. Good luck.
  4. 1. Wife completes I-864 as Primary Sponsor with Household size of 2 (self and sponsored immigrant). 2. One parent completes I-864 as Joint Sponsor with Household size of 3 (self, spouse, sponsored immigrant) 3. Other parent (Spouse of Joint Sponsor) completes an I-864a as household member of Joint Sponsor to combine income with Joint Sponsor
  5. ***Moved to the Mexico, Latin, & South America regional forum***
  6. Social Security numbers are normally issued for life. Yes, enter the SSN.
  7. ***Another duplicate/similar thread removed. Do NOT post another similar topic****
  8. ***I have moved this topic to the Philippines regional forum where our PI experts frequent. They are more knowledgeable in the area of Philippine BC requirements***
  9. On April 1st, the cost to Adjust Status is going to double.
  10. I heard Gavin Newsome call Haley a Dem surrogate....and he is right. She is just another establishment anti-Trumper driven by hate for the man who had the US on the right track. Every day she remains in the race gives more aid to Biden and his invasion. Her pitiful performance in her own state was boosted by dem voters who know that Trump is going to crush a 2nd Biden term in office. Even if Trump was unable to run, she would not be the Republican candidate. That is a fact!! There are several others who reflect Trump policy making much, much more than she. She is on a self-destruct mission.
  11. How can sane people see the Trump case as anything other than political persecution? There were no complaints, there were no victims, there was no crime!!! This is just a pre-emptive attack on Democracy and election interference.
  12. Have you read the Visa Journey K-1 guide, tip sheet, and flowchart? It explains what you need for the packet....and more.
  13. *** Duplicate thread merged into existing one. Please do not post topics multiple times***
  14. Keep in mind that an approved I-129f expires after 4 months. The Consulate can (and usually does) extend the expiration date in 4 month increments up to a year. It is totally at their discretion. I would contact the consulate and request the extension just to make sure.
  15. You would have to ask @Captain Ewok, the site Administrator and keeper of the algorithms. I suspect it is caused by members not completing all individual segments of the process in their individual timelines....but do have an NOA1 date and an interview scheduled date....the number of days between the NOA1 date and the interview scheduled date would result in an overall process length for an individual case.......that is just my speculation. I suspect, since all cases included in the overall calculations must have an NOA1 date and an interview scheduled (completion) date, it would be more reliable (using his qualifiers) than adding the individual segments. Again, I am speculating.
  16. You can marry anywhere in the world where it is legal. Then meet.....then start the spousal visa process. Visiting during the process is legal per the discretion of CBP, but he cannot live in the US prior to obtaining the visa. Some people opt for a Utah state online (Zoom) marriage, then meet...then start the process.
  17. You also might be interested in this: Every couple has their own priorities, and each couple must decide which visa is better for their situation. K-1 More expensive than CR-1 Requires Adjustment of Status after marriage (expensive and requires a lot of paperwork) Spouse can not leave the US until she/he receives approved Advance Parole (approx 3-6 months) Spouse can not work until she/he receives EAD (approx 3-6 months) Some people have had problems with driver licenses, Social Security cards, leases, bank account during this period Spouse will not receive Green Card for many months after Adjustment of Status is filed. A K-1 might be a better choice when 18-21 year old children are immigrating also In some situations, marriage can affect certain Home country benefits, making a K-1 a better choice A denied K-1 is sent back to USCIS to expire K-1 entrant cannot file for citizenship until after having Green Card for 3 years. Once an I-129F has been approved, delaying the case is difficult to impossible if the need arises. CR-1/IR-1 Less expensive than K-1 No Adjustment of Status(I-485, I-131, I-765) required. Spouse can immediately travel outside the US Spouse is authorized to work immediately upon arrival. Spouse receives Social Security Card and Green Card within 2 or 3 weeks after entering the US Opening a bank account, getting a driver's license, etc. are very easily accomplished with GC, SS card, and passport. Spouse has legal permanent Resident status IMMEDIATELY upon entry to US. The clock for citizenship filing starts immediately upon entry to the US. A CR-1/IR-1 case can be delayed indefinitely at NVC if the need arises.
  18. I posted this just today: Per other VJ members, the average processing time is less than a month different.
  19. It also requires a current Priority Date. To my memory, filing a concurrent I-130 and I-485 is rare for the spouse of a Green card holder.
  20. Police Certificates from Pakistan are not accurate, and they are not needed for consular processing.
  21. Meeting Tourist Visa requirements is unlikely, imo. I think mother traveling back to El Salvador might be the best chance of this happening.
  22. Make an appointment for an Urgent Travel passport after you take the oath. What do you mean by "lengthy process"? I have recently read that US passports are be processed within a couple weeks without an urgent travel appointment.
  23. ***Comments bordering on advice inconsistent with US law removed*** Visa Journey members may not: Condone or instruct, either directly or indirectly, others on how to commit fraudulent or illegal immigration activities in any way, shape, manner or method
  24. Yes. The endorsed immigrant visa in your passport serves as your temporary Green Card until the plastic one arrives.
