I would attempt to correct his at the interview. I would also report this to the supervisory level of the agency. This is fraud. -

Well, my bad...LOL. I just remembered...my neighbor got an RFE pretty fast.......but nothing since. She did receive her EAD. Good luck on your interview.

I know people who filed in March.....crickets. I agree with @OldUser. Interview waivers are probably going to be an exception.

Standard procedure to ensure you are actually authorized to board and travel to the US. Airlines must look at your travel document (visa).

No. The fee is for processing, not approval. -

No RFE for that, in itself. Nothing additional needed as long as they married within 90 days.

6 months is not that long for extended AP. Filing a WOM is a bit risky. -

Just around 2 years...that is a long process for an elderly person....like me..LOL. Yes, they are prime candidates. If this was true, we wouldn't see IR-5 visa applications. The fact is that IR-5 visas make up a significant part of immigrant visas. Example is China Sept 2024.

I disagree in this particular case. I have seen plenty of parents denied B2 visas. Elderly parents of US citizens are prime candidates to skip the long immigrant process and overstay tourist visas, then stay. That is just reality. The OP's parents are not in the Philippines, so your experience doesn't apply in this particular case.
