I can afford an attorney. I chose not to use one because I'm intelligent and can fill out forms and submit paperwork on my own. Some people use VJ because they can't afford an attorney; the rest of us are smart enough to figure out we don't need one. The wikis are done by the people of VJ (just like any wiki) and some are just not kept up like you've mentioned. Procedures and forms have changed, drastically, in the past 6 years.

Next they forward to NVC they will assign a case number and it goes to lebannon. I would start calling NVC in two weeks they will give you case number over phone and you can get a jump on filling out the ds160 online and scheduling print medical and interview.
    Congrats on the approval

What theph said Im basically just running the numbers here on what is available. So the 5 per day is from members who are updating their timelines on VJ or talking about it on the message board. There could obviously be more since there are so many inactive users or deleted users (look at Igors List). If USCIS was approving only 5 cases per day it would be shameful LMAO
Our membership is only a small portion of the actual numbers being processed etc but it just provides a look in to how things are moving here and if we are getting closer to our month Maybe I should add a disclaimer that these numbers are for entertainment purposes only and may not reflect reality

A signature is a signature her printed name shouldnt be an initial. From what i have read as long as its always the exact same no issue the difference between signature and printed name is...the signature is a way to verify if the person is the same by their hancock

I agree with hypnos and anita, I think your best bet is to let the lawyer handle it. If you have already filed AOS before you were asked to leave that seems like a tricky situation. In normal cases, overstays are permitted while AOS processes....but i'm not sure how it works if you are asked to leave on different grounds.

Go to the police department and request a police escort to retrieve your belongings this is not just her home but yours too so no warrant or reasonable cause is needed. They will escort you in and supervise while you get your things together after that file divorce asap.
You live in Broward county? Go to the courthouse and speak to someone in the self help section of the family court they should be able to give you information on free or low cost legal services or options to help with filing fees. If you need more help with this part PM me Im a paralegal I can help lead you in the right direction, family law I have a lot of experience with the immigration part of it and ROC I dont though.

Call the police. She cannot legally keep your property and the documents she kept. She can not force you to leave, you need to agree to leave without a court order.
Also get a lawyer asap. A divorce lawyer familiar with immigration issues. She cannot get you deported or withdraw your ROC. The ROC application is your application and they won't even talk to her about the status of it without you giving permission to them to talk to her. No matter what she attempts to tell USCIS, they'll pretty much ignore it unless she has hard evidence fraud was committed.

I believe this is not your first post about the issue with your wife, if i remember well. And people advised you to keep your documents safely..
    http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/594569-roc-in-processbut-my-wife-want-to-give-me-a-divorce/
And looks like you ignored it..
You can file a police report against her..but remember, it is your word against hers. The police will need a reason cause to to even search her home for your document or to arrest her. You can try civil approach or you can try the law but you have given her the upper hand already..
I wish ppl would listen when they are warned. sorry if my comment came off as harsh..Good luck to you!

Firstly I wasn't looking for any tips on how to come to America illegally. I just wanted to know if people on this website have gotten the parole in place.
Secondly, I really don't like the UK, no offense to the British people but I absolutely hate it. I won't go into detail why, but I do. I don't get the feeling of home there, it's too different and it's just so foreign. I don't want to offend British people so I rather not talk about it. Let's just say it's very backwards.
Thirdly, I do love my husband but due to all the years apart and immigration drama, I did build up a lot of anger towards him, I can't seem to let the pain go. Even when I am with him im angry and I don't even want to talk sometimes because I'm pissed off all the time with him. I went through a lot by having to raise my child alone and work full time and do literally everything by myself!!
I know most if not all of you would get up and move but it's easier said than done.
I have a life, an amazing career that I have always wanted, its so hard for me to move, the only reason I would do this is for my child. I will give it a shot and hopefully things work out. I hate hate hate having to leave my home.
But if it does not work out then I want my child to know that I tried for her sake. I rather loose it all for my child then not ever have tried at all.

I don't think you are going to get the answers you want to hear on this website because you are talking to an audience of people who are mostly either
    a) desperate to be with their spouse or
    b) have made the sacrifice to leave their country which they love to move to America to be with their spouse
So as you have an option of reuniting your family in a pretty decent country - where you don't have to learn a new language and where your job skills will be in demand, and where you can give your daughter access to both her parents - most people are not going to say that's a bad deal.
But immigrating and moving your whole life somewhere new isn't easy for some people - it sounds like it would be a big step for you - so it's okay to be cautious and worried.
What would I do in your shoes?
I would go and give it a really good shot. I would aim to give it five years at the very least. And I would aim to do it with the attitude of really building a home and a life there - and try not to see it as a temporary visit. After five years you would be well on your way towards the possibility of UK citizenship and you'll be able to decide whether to stay on for that so that long term at least you would be able to travel back and forth without immigration issues. Also in five years time who knows what changes US immigration might have gone through. Your husband might have another chance to apply - and at least you would be together while dealing with it.

If you want to get married now, then why not do so and have her stay and file for AOS? She is already in the US, so why leave just to apply for another visa to enter the US again?
Look up how to get a certified copy of your US birth certificate from the state you were born in.

I entered at IAD and barely spoke to the CBP officer. The whole experience was not much different than when I entered on my student visa. I went through the visitors line, gave the officer my passport, customs form, and the visa packet, got a pic taken and had my fingerprints scanned. He tore open the packet and looked through it and if I didn't notice him writing CR1 in my passport instead of IR1 we literally would not have spoken at all beyond "hello" When I pointed out it's past my second anniversary he asked me if there was a copy of the marriage certificate in the packet, I said yes and he looked through the packet again and found it, confirmed when our wedding date was, crossed out CR1 and wrote IR1 under it, stamped my passport and I was on my way to luggage claim & customs, no secondary (even though I expected it and my boarding pass was marked SSSS as well).
I agree with Anitafeliz -- smaller is better if there's a connecting flight since even though I spent about 5 minutes with the CBP officer, it took me about an hour to get to him and another hour to go through security again for my connecting flight.

Your question can't be answered by us, whether you give him the passport or not it is still up to the consular, which you have to prove them that your marriage is bona fide and this is a very tough embassy! Because Ghana is considered a high fraud country you should read through Ghana portal to get a idea of what your dealing with, and good luck

No you aren't the first and won't be the last woman to go through this and
as a matter of fact I went through something similar about 12 years ago and did not recognize the flags that I now know where there
but stopped the process in time and he never made it here thank God.
I was just curious about there being any red flags you may have seen but like me plowed ahead anyway and you are right, you do not
owe me an explanation. I wish you all the best for your future and I can say I found Mr. Right after Mr. Wrong and so will you.

Yes and there is more hoops one must jump through. See my website if you want a better insight to the Filipino process. In my signature below is the link at the red twisting arrow.
It usually follows AP, Ready, AP and then issued. If you are not checking you could miss these steps but that usually is the routine.
