I believe so, Fedex did not ship to P.O Box.

I used USPS overnight...

May 3rd - Send to Lockbox Chicago

May 4th - Signed (Fedex Overnight)

May 12th - RFE (Send back because of incorrect fee)

May 14th - Send to Lockbox Chicago

May 15th - Signed

That's because the I-130 was sent to either the Chicago or Phoenix lockbox, and there's a physical address you can send the packages to if you wished. For CSC, there's only a P.O. Box, so USPS is it.

5/21/2016: Mailed I-751 packet to CSC

5/23/2016: NOA1

7/29/2016: Biometrics Appointment

11/22/2016: I-751 Approved!

Any time we've had to send something in (AOS and a request to change an interview date plus my new medical when that got sent in) I've used USPS too. I just ask them for the 2-day guaranteed delivery - it does cost a little more, but it does get tracked etc. Never had a problem. The one time I was sending a few things to various places and forgot to ask for tracking, our local Post Office actually pulled that letter out and reminded me that I should do guaranteed and tracked on it to make sure it got there on time and that there was no query over whether or not it was received. :)

I swear by them as far as cheaper and effective tracking :D

I just noticed that the mailing address for CSC is a PO Box. Does that mean USPS is the only way we can send our package? I remember back in the I-130, there was a separate address for private couriers.

I used USPS Priority. I was able to track the package. It was delivered in two days.

The courier address for CSC is:

California Service Center

24000 Avila Road, 2nd Floor, Room 2302

Laguna Niguel, CA 92677

There was at least one VJ member who reported success in sending their package via courier but I have zero idea if this works. I would suggest using USPS priority mailing. It's as fast as courier, cheaper and you get a tracking number. Good luck!

I send my ROC package thru USPS last May23 and i put the po box address which is po box 10751 Laguna Niguel, CA 92607-1075 then today it was delivered but in my tracking it was delivered at Laguna Niguel CA 92677 so i called the USPS i tot they delivered it in the wrong address . The lady operator told me its fine and it is the USCIS office which they deliver some of the documents.. crossing my finger that it really delivered in the right address..

Do not use U.S. Postal Service! They lost one of my immigration packages and didn't even apologize - just offered a refund. I will NEVER use USPS again. Go with FedEx.

The USPS is a bloated, inefficient government agency staffed with lazy, disgruntled workers. People with important packages use FedEx, United Parcel Service, DHL, etc. There's a reason why the business world uses private. Your package is important - use FedEx. (Must send to physical address, not P.O. Box).

Signed,

A former user of USPS

Fully agree with this. Never use USPS. They "lost" our I-129f paperwork and then magically found it after 2 weeks and was delivered.
