Thank you, I have checked into it and it may only be  few days for her now, so I wouldn't get to see her and due to her religion,  she will be buried the next day, so I will be staying home.

I assume the state dept still has your Certificate of Naturalization? Otherwise you could drive there.

You cant apply for an emergency passport while one is pending.

When did you apply??

Call the 1-877-487-2778 and maybe they can tell you where your passport is down the pipeline.

Or create an emergency situation for you.

I called and passport said its not an emergency...:,(

I applied July 21

I read that the usa cannot deny me entry even without my passport as I'm a citizen but I am not sure.

Hi Everyone, 

My Usa passport has still not arrived and they have my naturalization certificate and marriage certificate.   

A friend is dying in CANADA and I will need to quarantine for 2 weeks and hopefully I can still see her.  

Can i still cross back into the usa using photo copies.  Or can I use my Canadian passport.

I was approved on Feb 20.  Just in line now for oath ceremony to be scheduled.   Yippee...

My status update still stuck at Interview Scheduled stage from last year. I called the customer service and they told me that the online system sometimes take some time to "process". I even opened up the N400 officers manual available online on the USCIS website and have studied it with great interest. It also contained a little nugget on the actual sausage making post-interview: apparently the interviewing officer who recommends the approval must not make the actual decision to approve but he/she must hand the file off to another officer who would then perform a final review before deciding whether to make the decision that was made already to stand as the absolute final judgment upon the fate of the applicant. 

This is good to know.  I am also stuck at Interview Scheduled after 3 weeks.   My file wasn't sent on time but luckily he still interviewed me.  He was really great about it all.  

I'm just anxious to check that box

I guess they are all different and you should ask, all I know is that American airlines did that for me.

If you book directly with the airline, you won't have a cancellation fee when you rebook.   I use American airlines and they were great to me 

Hello everyone,  I'm so glad I found this thread.  My 400 interview was on January 23rd, in Kentucky and my file wasn't there but he interviewed me anyway.   

So 2 weeks later and I'm starting to stress.  

He said I passed the civics etc and unless there were ex spouses and criminal convictions not known on my application, I'd be fine.  The firm said a decision couldn't be made at this time.   

I need a judge to preside due to a name change which may take longer   but I'm starting to get anxious.  

Anyone else have something like this happen....thx

I don't know how much time....sigh   I had my n 400 2 weeks ago Thursday and all went well but he couldn't give me an answer as my file wasn't there.  I'm just waiting to see if I passed.   What website do you use to check your status.  I'm using the my uscis....waiting so close to the finish is painful 

I have the same issue.  It was exciting to see the clock tick down, now just... taking longer than expected.   Hopes up, down, sideways....crazy crazy this whole experience 

I think you are wise to end this especially before children.  Trust your head.  Good luck.

Honestly, I don't care anymore as I have lost way too much mentally than just a fortune and inheritance that I shared with her but anyways let's not get into that. What is more killing is that the way it has happened I am a certified patient of PTSD now and it will most likely stay with me for the rest of my life. So, really I don't care and willing to trade green card for my sanity and happiness now. I hardly follow here so if you need anything from me you can message me for a quick reply.

I'm not sure.  On the instructions page it says if they need originals they will ask or you can bring to the interview

I did that, also divorce decrees,  master card statements, just a few each year, and every thing else they asked. Oh, also travel dates.  

So an amazing thing to wake up to yesterday.  My card was being produced.  Today it said case approved.  I'm a Vermont filer.

Never mind - I just checked...I'm still confused though. I keep getting updates from vj for the processing times and it says mine should be done somewhere in October 2019. Not that this is a definite, it's just an estimate but still...nowhere near another 212 days 😳🤔

Aug 23rd 2018.  I guess if they go to the end.  My process time on vj changes too, right now its Nov 8th so uscis is probably going to worst case scenario.

We filed N-400 in July and are hoping for a combo interview, which (I guess) means that the case would have to be transferred.

Vermont too.  My case isn't even online but I called today and they said the system update might take another 2 weeks but not to worry, no mistakes or flags but they still have another 212 days to work on it.  Sigh.
