Just got back from my medical. For everyone worrying....let it go. The doctor was so nice and very helpful...in and out in under an hour.

You'll do great!! No worries there. Then you can support me when i go in for my medical next month lol.

Good luck Bwise....you'll be awesome...I have my medical on Wednesday and am a mess....interview on January 27th.

Im on my psych rotation now and I can say we all have some flavor of personality disorder lol jk, this process is more stressful than anything I've been through. wishing you a successful procedure and medical

I am so happy for everyone! I had to take a wee break from VJ as I just became a nervous wreck for everyone. Medical next week, shots done but a cyst needs to be removed tomorrow...funny though, I am more worried about the immigration medical than having a breast cyst removed...I'm sure they will have me psyche evaluated for sure now... Praying for good news and great reviews on the interviews tomorrow!!

Now I'm confused. My case says Ready but I haven't received anything other than my case number from the NVC. I called and asked them....what am I supposed to do next? Worried as my NOA2 says its valid until January 31st.

I know you have 6 months to enter the US after you get your visa. I was wondering as well about the 4 months in which the I129 is valid...

Thanks...the NVC gave me the case number...on the DS form, its asks for the invoice number from the NVC...I guess I need to call back...ah the joys of this process...so much fun

Hmmm...my case says ready at the NVC but won't let me start the DS 160 application from the Embassy in Montreal. What is the receipt number from the NVC and when/how do you get it?

Congrats everyone...what happens if you cannot schedule your interview before the deadline of the date on the NOA2. For example, mine says valid until January 31, 2016. I have a heath issue that might require surgery...

Ha ha...SweetJuls...I've lost 10 pounds too...drinking energy boosts and anything else to try and keep some weight on so at the medical they don't think I'm sick....

So I am following everyone intently and love the joy and happiness. I called the NVC today and got my number.... So now what do I do....this whole process is like...yes...oh no, there's a new level....yes....oh no, here we go again....I've never been so stressed out in my life....

No nothing like that...just young and stupid and afraid now it will cause me a denial...I plan to put it all on the form that they will send me next since I am only just at the NVC stage.

DUI is generally not an issue, not a CIMT, it will need to be declared.

I am the beneficiary living in Canada and my fiancé is American. In 1989, young and stupid, I was charged with a care and control of a vehicle which is the same as a DUI, fine and loss of license for a year and refusal to take a breathe analysis since in my mind I was not driving. Still completely guilty to which I plead guilty. In 1994 I was granted a pardon. I have not been in trouble since.

Is this something that comes up in the next stage of the NVC or at the Interview. The I129 has been approved.

I am so worried that this very bad judgement early in my life will harm my chances to enter the US and be married.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I have been told on other forums that it will not affect me to get married or obtain a green card. I just can't stop worrying.
