My husband went for his interview on September 27th at the Washington DC field office in Fairfax, and everything went very well.  He had no issues, and the interviewer was very pleasant.  The interviewer told him he'd receive a letter in a few weeks with information about the ceremony.  We just received a letter yesterday, though it was dated October 1st, that his citizenship ceremony is scheduled for THIS THURSDAY!  For the first time ever, in the eight years that we've been dealing with immigration, has something happened FASTER than I thought it would.

Just completed my biometrics. Total process from check in to finger printing took about 6 minutes. On to the next process :)

I just came back from my biometrics appointment. It took me around 20 minutes. The estimated completion time now dropped to 7 months, I'm not sure if this is because I just completed the biometrics. The online status still shows "we scheduled your biometrics appointment."

Hello folks, Finally I am glad that my check was cashed from the bank today (11/27). Hopefully I will receive my NOA receipt and Biometeric appointment letter soon. Will keep you all posted. Good Luck to all!

It depends on the filing location, I like to take a look at other month filing threads for a better idea. Some are on point, other early, and other a little after.

Hey everyone. Joining the waiting train. I applied for N400 base off of 3 years married to a US citizen. I could of waited till next year March for 5 years but I didn’t feel like waiting. I applied on the 20th and and received an update online on the 23rd that they mailed my biometrics letter and hopefully it comes tomorrow. My estimated completion date is July2020

That  was so nice of you. I feel the same . And everyone here are very thorough when answering the inquiries we all have. I feel I am not alone in this journey and I wish all the best for everyone

I love that our November filers group are more active than appears to be normal among the other group. Taking these steps, even if only online, makes me feel closer to you all, even though I barely know you.
 
 

My biometrics was for 12/13, but I did a successful walk-in today at Manhattan, NY ASC. They didn't ask why and I didn't offer. Was in and out in 40 minutes.
 
 
 

I see. Since it was filed by mail, there's no other way to check the status but to wait until you receive your N-400 NOA thru the mail. I believe I have seen one who filed by mail and got an NOA letter on our spreadsheet. @CelineDB filed it on Nov 7th and got an NOA 8 days after.

The thing though is how accurate the estimated wait time is?
