Congratulations! Your long wait is finally over.
Did the officer ask you to show any documents you brought along with you?
Hi AlienLife,
Thank you.
Th Officer just asked for my Greencard and DL... I had my marriage certificate and my children certificate ready and with me but they didn't ask for it.

Just wanted to let you know I am officially a US citizen 👏🏾💃 ... the interview went well and it was super easy here in Seattle.
Good bye USCIS. What a Journey it has been and thank you to everyone on here who has kept me sane through this process from K1, Removing condition and N400.

I did see a December 2019 Seattle filer has already had the interview and oath ceremony. How that happened is a mystery. I’m a September 2019 filer and no news...
Oh Wow... my Case completion time shows Feb 2021 .. what a bummer I really wanted to vote this year.

Any November 2019 filers heard anything yet?

Ok So I did an early walk-in for my bio metrics and they've let me! hooray lol

Hi All,
I'm sorry if this question has been asked before but I have bio-metrics scheduled for the 19th Dec... Is it possible for me to try it early, a walk in maybe? has anyone done a walk-in successfully without being turned away?
My appointment is at the USCIS Tukwila office btw
Thanks in advance

Hello folks, Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving ! I received email from USCIS yesterday morning saying they have taken action on my case and to login and check the status. When I logged in, I was glad to see the status "We scheduled your biometrics appointment" View your letter on your documents tab for the appointment date, time, and location. However when I checked the documents tab , it did not have any letter. May be they take some time to upload the Biometeric appointment letter. Did anybody else experience similar situation? Is this something I need to be worried or I should call the USCIS customer service ? So far I have not received any letters from USCIS via Paper Mail. Please suggest.
On another note, I am happy that the estimated case completion date shows June 2020 (6 months).
Hey yes I am in the same boat! My biometric got scheduled today but there's nothing in my documents yet. It does say check back another time to see the document so hopefully on Monday or Tuesday

Depends on where you lives, if you lives in Federalway, Tacoma more likely they are going to transfer your case to Portland , Oregon and will be way faster only 6 months. Or if you lives in eastern side will transfer yo Yakima and way faster like 3 months. But if you lives in Seattle then will be longest wait from entire nation☹️.
I live in Des Moines
So I'm closer to Seattle right....

Got my NOA and now waiting on my biometrics.... est. wait time for completion is now Feb 2021! Yup Seattle is so behind
-
So my package got rejected because they couldn't process my payment with the credit card although I did provide the form. I then re-applied online (Monday the 25th) and got my NOA the very next day. My est. wait time is now February 2021.. my God Seattle is so behind :-

Online is much easier, it is step by step and you just attach whatever evidence they ask you for then you pay submit and you track it online. it is so much faster, I applied friday got a response for Bio saturday and estimated time also

Got it. Another Q when they;ve rejected my pacakage it says refile it with this big green letter saying "If you do submit your benefit request again, please enclose this letter with your submission" do I scan this letter and include it as well.
Thank you all for the help! I'll file it online as we speak

Awww, I am so sorry to hear that. What do you mean when you mentioned about the reason as to why your package got rejected? Just got curious as to why they couldn't use the form.
I used the credit card form g-1450

Perhaps try filing it online. It's easier and gets accepted same day or next day.
I'd love to do it online but when you do fill it online how do you send the evidence then? like how do they know it's your package.. excuse my ignorance
Trying to bring my father to the US
in Bringing Family Members of US Citizens to America
Posted
Hi All,
My mother passed away recently, and my elderly father is currently on his own in the UK. My family are originally from Somalia but came to the UK as refugees and have their UK citizenship
My question is as I was going through required documents needed for the applications, I see that birth certificate is required from my father and my own birth certificate. My Father was born in 1945 and as we all know Somalia has been country of war for over 30 years so there are no way we can get his birth certificate or if it was even recorded.
What are my options?
Thank you in advance
