Hi Guys,

So I have a question.. I do apologise if it has been asked before but my receipt number (NOA) is keep saying invalid when I try to track it on the USCIS website.. is anyone else having the same problem?

First try calling USCIS explain your situation and if they don’t help you I would schedule an infopass online and meet someone face to face. Good luck I know how the wait is dreadful! 

I finally got my NOA!! And by the look of it they sent it to my old address and it got sent back to them. They’ve resent it to the correct address. We changed our address and filed all the forms including sponsor’s change of address but nope still sent it to my old address *sigh*. 

My notice is dated July 20th.

Why some others are able to get their NOA1 very fast, only when they sent in their application for few days then they update that they have received their extension I797C already. But mine took more than a month, and I have not seen they cash the check.. sigh, the wait is really killing us.

When did you send yours? I’m still waiting on my NOA they’ve cashed my check a week ago so I really don’t know whats going on...

Still no NOA1 for me

They should send the letter to the address you put in your petition. I can see why they used your old address for the 120 day reminder since it was in your original i485 but for this new one, I don’t believe so.

Give it a couple of weeks before panicking and also maybe keep in contact with the new tenants in your old address?

Thank you for your response P-ana.. I did contact my old apartment complex but they've changed the whole complex including the apartment numbers, so all the mail will be forwarded but since the USCIS is federal mail they cant forward it they'll just send it back *SIGH*... so I went down to the post office to explain my situation one of the guy said he'll look into it so hopefully I'll get some good news.

So I still haven’t got my NOA and my money order was cashed on Wednesday.. I see similar people timeline like me already got their NOA1 on Thursday 😩 .. I’m just worried that they’ve sent it to our old address although I’ve changed it online 5 months ago! They sent my reminder to my old address so I’m kind of worried.. should I panic? 

With money order you can also find out if it has been cashed so yeah there's no difference to be honest.

I see yours was delivered on the 13th, I am a day ahead of you... give it 2 more days it'll be probably be cashed by Friday! Fingers crossed.. did you use bank check or Money order?

Okey so my money order has been cashed!!! Now it's the waiting game for the NOA.. Packet was received on the 12th and I believe it has either been cashed today or yesterday.

Same here we've moved in April and changed my address with USCIS within the same week but somehow my 120 reminder got sent to my old address thank God I did change my address with the post office so they've redirected the letter to my address.

That's good news and pretty fast congratz!!

My package got delivered Thursday and I've just checked if my MO was cashed but nope not yet lol.. Mine's the California service center as well so it's going to be a long wait for me.

That first page showed enough to see that the account was clearly used because it had previous balance, current balance, and quite a few transactions. The balances varied by thousands so it wasn't' like $100 sat in a joint account two years for show. 

 

Everything was photocopies. They tell you that in the form instructions.

So my filing date is near and dealing with the USCIS is about to start again *Sigh*, I just have a quick question in regards to the bank statement evidence, do we have to include every single page from the statement or just the front page? I have 2 and half years statement ready.

Also for those of you who included boarding passes as evidence did you send the original boarding pass or a copy?

So I am not due to remove the conditioning on my residency card until next year but my Husband wants to change his first and last name (personal reasons) and I am wondering will this affect us when we start our process next year? Shall we just wait until I get my 10years Green Card or will it be fine.
