    Thank you for the info. I already assumed it was like that... Now I'd like to know how many cases they wait to have before shipping them :huh:

    I knew my case was third of the day from Spain, so not that many really...

    LOL, we are always waiting :)

    I saw this information on an old post, so I'm not sure if NVC still uses DHL for shipping cases to the Embassy. Its worth a try.

    "I went to www.dhl.com clicked Express then Tracking, then Track by Shipper's Reference, on this page you add your search info..You change the day and month to what you think your's might have left NVC

    EXAMPLE:

    * Shipper´s Reference : EXP 24 MAR 2011A

    * Date range for shipment - From: 23 - 03 - 2011

    * Date range for shipment - To: 26 - 03 - 2011

    Account Number - Leave this blank

    Shipment Destination: Egypt / You Choose your Country

    The day I was trying this I saw a package had left for Egypt. I thought could that be our's? I called the NVC and I was told our package had gone out. The one I had saw was our's I was so happy. I just checked our's it's at the Sorting Center in Egypt now, it's moving fast :)

    Someone with the example date I made up above for the country of Egypt has a package going to Egypt now as you will see if you try this.

    The best of luck to everyone :)"

    Those of you that have your NVC cas numbers and entered it on the CEAC website and notice your case at NVC or left NVC can try this out and see if its still applicable. This can at least let you know when cases are sent to the embassy in your country. Hope this helps. Good luck everyone. May we be with our love ones soon.

    The heavens have indeed heard you. Matt called USCIS earlier at 3:30pm for the first time she talked to a nice costumer service and said he would like to inquire about our case and ask that he may be transferred to a tier 2 officer. She then got our details and Matts fone number and said he will receive a call back in 75 minutes. I was telling Matt maybe they will not call since it's already almost their time to go off work but then the he received a call from the tier 2 and said our case was approved today:jest:.when he called me I just couldn't believe it. But thanks God we finally got our Noa2. For all those who are still waiting just hang on there yours is coming soon.

    Yeahhhhhhhhhh! :jest: I'm so happy for the both of you. Next stop is NVC.  I'm going to begin calling them in two weeks. It's taking roughly 12-15 days for our cases to reach NVC and get an IIN/BIN assignment.

    Got it!  So technically, we need the last 5 digits to really see where they are.  Although, obviously it doesn't make much of a difference since the approvals are all over the place :)  Congrats!

    Yeah, just when we feel like we have figured things out with USCIS, then another piece of skewed data is thrown in the mix. Thanks and I hope you get your approval very soon.

    OMG! Those are past our case number. It could only mean there is a good chance they have touched ours too. I really hope they did. And mail is just delayed because CSC is far from Illinois 😊. Thanks for the info. Good luck on your next journey

    Yes, that's true. It can take longer to reach you. Let me know when you get it tomorrow. :)

    Congratulations! I was wondering what is the last 4 digits of your case number? I just wanna know what case number they are working or how far we are from each other coz you have the exact same timeline as ours😁. Just wanna feel some hope

    Thank you! I hope you get your approval soon. Our case ends with 6495. I noticed the following cases around ours had RFEs according to the app given on Aug. 17th: 6281, 6352, 6419, 6476, 6487, 6525, 6541. So that lets me know that they have touched cases up to at least that last case number.

    Just got home and checked the mail and we got our NOA 2!! I'm so excited that I feel like my heart is about to beat out of my chest. Time line has been updated. It is almost exactly 4 months to the day. Nothing on Case Tracker and Informed Delivery isn't available in my area so, check your mailboxes!!

    I realize that we are still in the shallow area of this huge pool but a weight has been lifted. We've broken this process up into little pieces so as not to overwhelm ourselves so now it's time to wade through VJ and find out what to do next. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you guys. We couldn't have gotten this far without VJ!!!

    Edited to put in dates:

    NOA 1 Received Date 4/11/17

    NOA 1 Notice Date 4/15/17

    NOA 2 Notice Date 8/17/17

    Congratulations! We are approved also with the exact same dates.

    I bet it was awesome up there! Here in Southern California it was only 60% but still very cool. I was hoping a rare celestial event like this would bring an NOA2 but no such luck 😜

    Being the space geek that I am, I was so surprised for us to receive our approval on such an awesome unique day.  I actually told my fiance last week that we were going to receive our good news on this day.

    Thank you, @An&In, @etteniMTtocs, @Jeff and Alina, @asaeljethro, @bjd, @BahamaIslander242 and everyone of you that say congrats to us... I don't know if I'm forgetting someone and I'm sorry if that's the case.

    You made this day more special... but now for the rest of the journey, as well as all your approvals if you still don't have it! :jest:

    Congratulations! I'm so happy for you and Gary.  Thanks for starting this thread and being so knowledgeable of the process.  You have really helped me to keep a steady head in this process, so thanks again!

    I got my letter of employment from my co-sponsor so looks like tonight I'm double checking to make sure I have everything ready to send to my fiancee next Thursday. I'm super excited for it... I know every step I get closer and closer to finally having him here and it's so surreal at this point. It almost feels like a dream. We've been together since 2015 and it's nothing compared to what most people on VJ have been together. I can't imagine how some do it for so long, but it shows unbelievable strength to keep the relationship strong since LDR's aren't easy. I'm just finally happy we can fully spend time together (longer than 90 days :P) and won't have to countdown our days together.

    What a happy day it is! I stressed so long about finding a co-sponsor never believing I would even find one. I can't believe how far we've come.

    Does anyone know the best option to ship my papers internationally to my fiancee? I'm more nervous about my mail getting lost than ever. I was thinking USPS since I haven't had a problem with them delivering mail I've sent in the past. International scares me a bit though.

    I have used FEDEX and DHL before many times.

    You have a sweet and nice story to read about. I believe that age is just a number when we are in love and have great connection with our loved ones. Congratulations for the baby boy. Hopefully you will get Noa2 approval soon and no more long distance for you, your fiance and the baby. May God bless all of you :)

    Thank you so much! I see you're in Texas too! I wonder if Dallas is as hot as Houston has been lately.

    I sent mine in on the 7th as well and my notice is the 15th ,which is a Saturday but I think they made a booboo with that. But yay for her

    Hi,

    I have been lurking around and just reading the comments in this forum to stay abreast of what's going on and getting information for this journey.  I decided to respond seeing that we have the same timeline.  We sent ours in on April 7th and received the notice on April 15th, which is a saturday. lol. I thought that was pretty weird.  When I look at my case on the app, it shows April 11th for my NOA1. A bit confusing at times.  I see most people are going with the date that USCIS is using.

    Congrats to all the have been approved and here's to a speedy approval for the rest of us.

  12. Sooooo....I just got off the phone with NVC, and the young man told me my case was in administrative processing. I asked him why and he said that every case that comes through NVC goes through AP. But I'm confused, doesn't that mean they hold your case longer? In which case, everyone's petitions would be held up!

    Our case was in administrative processing for 15 days and it drove us nuts. We were seeing other people's cases come in and go out quickly and wondered why ours was stuck. Apparently some case are pulled for extensive re-checking at NVC. All cases undergo administrative processing but only some are randomly extensively checked. I was reading in the forums about some cases being stuck at NVC and that it could take up to 8 weeks but ours was only 2 weeks. Our case got to NVC on April 6th and left on April 21st. Hope this info helps you to know a little more. I know it will happen quickly for you. Good luck!
