Thanks Shiny1713! Based on similar timelines and the DHL tracking, it takes 3-4 business days to be delivered to the Embassy. I plan to email the Embassy next week after I see that it is delivered and request the Packet 3. I hope that you get the current up-to-date Packet 3 from your Embassy. I was reading in this forum about the things that are going on with the changes that occurred with the Embassies in Canada. Hopefully everything smoothes out and everyone can see progress and get with their loved ones soon. Take care and best of luck!

I just saw a post I believe yesterday about this... if I remember correctly it talked about how some random cases are pulled at the NVC stage for AP (which they usually just do random additional checks of docs or something like that). I think I read they are in AP an average of 30 days.. don't quote me. Do a quick search on administrative processing at nvc.

Finally our case shows 'In Transit' to the Embassy.

Our case has been at the NVC since April 6th (2 weeks). The representative says its in administrative processing and there's no timeframe on how long it takes. Is anyone else experiencing this or have experienced this? Thanks for your help.

Tomorrow starts a new week and I hope we all see some progress with our cases and get one step closer to being with the one we love!

I wonder how often the NVC sends out cases to India. I checked DHL and notice they shipped some cases last week in the 7th of April and this week on 11th of April. Our case arrived there on April 6th and was immediately assigned a case number, but hasn't left from there yet. Just waiting and wondering.

I sent my 129F off on the 21st of January got my Noa1 date is January 28th. I see all these people that have already been approved on my date and into February and before my date. It is now 73 day and still no approval or NOA 2 as of yet. Is any one else having this problem or am I just an unlucky person. Why would so many people after me already be approved and I have not even been look at. This is really getting ne depressed and anxiety ridden.

According to Igor's list for unapproved petitions, there are 54 cases with NOA1s in January that have not received a RFE and haven't received their NOA2 Approval. I have been noticing that each week there are a few January approvals mixed in with the February approvals. This waiting period is tough, but hang in there and keep your connection to the forums. NVC received our case today and assigned case number and invoice number same day. Sweet! NOA2 Mar 14th!

Our NOA2 was March 14th and NVC just received our case today. It took 16 business days to get there. Operator said it can take up to 42 days to be processed, but based on timelines it only takes one or two days. So glad our case finally made it there. Now I'm hoping its processed and sent to US Embassy by the end of this week, then we will track in via DHL website. Good luck everyone!

Hi there, we have exactly time frame. My NOA2 is also Mar 18 so I better call tomorrow to see if they assign our case. Does any one who has NOA2 between Mar 14-18 have NVC case number yet???

I think the Mar 14-18th cases just arrived at NVC today so case numbers should begin being assigned by tomorrow.

We've been approved! NOA1 date was January 4, but the RFE slowed us down by about a month. They approved us after three business days of receiving our RFE response. Yay!

Hi Everyone,

Based on the people that have updated their timelines, the NVC is finishing up on NOA2s from March 11th. They should be progressing to the following week of March 14th-18th soon. Our NOA2 was on March 14th. I plan to call tonight because I find its less 'on hold' time. I know our case should arrive their soon, based on the latest time-frames. Hoping all of us are with our sweethearts soon!

who has NOA2 dated after March 7 that's waiting for NVC number? Mine is March 14.. so hopefully week from today,

We also have March 14 as NOA2 date. We will call next week April 4th and/or 5th. That's when we expect our case to be there and assigned a case number.

NOA2 received with the date March 14, 2016, Approved!

Yeah! Congratulations! I was waiting on you to post. We have the same approval date March 14th. We were in Jamaica for Speing Break vacation together when we received it. We of course celebrated nicely that day. I'm so happy! We will begin calling NVC on March 28/29th. It seems like it's taking 14 or 15 working days for them to receive our petitions.

I've literally put a reminder on my calendar and I'm resisting the urge to call until April 5th.

Yes I know. Same here. I figured I need to be patient so that the phone lines are available for those ahead of us. When it's our time to call, I hope others show the same courtesy. It sure is hard, but it's best to call when we know we will receive good news.

I got four emails at exactly midnight last night saying the same thing that my case was approved.

Congrats! We were also approved on March 14th with same NOA1 Jan 28th. Is there a NOA3?

We went to his country's US Embassy website and printed the checklist which is the packet 4. He will start gathering things from the checklist such as: police clearance certificate, passport photos, birth certificate and etc. he can't do his medical exam until he receives the letter from the U.S. Embassy in Delhi. Each country operates a little differently when it gets to this part of the process. I would suggest to you to go to your fiancé US Embassy website and you can also go to his country's forum on here to see what has been discussed. For now, I have gathered the contact information for the NVC so that I can start calling them in 10 days to see when they receive our file and assign a case number.

What a beautiful morning it has been to wake up in Ocho Rios, Jamaica together on our vacation and see that our case has been approved! We received our NOA2 via the USCIS Case tracker app and email on March 14th at midnight. Our NOA1 was on January 28, 2016. That took approximately 46 days. We are so happy. This makes our vacation together even more exciting. Now we are going on to our next step in our love journey. Congratulations to everyone that have received their NOA2 approval and we are praying for those of you that are still waiting!
