It would be unfair just to hear his side only. We doesn't know yet the version of his wife, so rather judging her with their situation it will be best if we just advise him to go for counselling or talk to your wife. If you were dating before and were able to work out your relationship till you two got married, I always believe that if there's a will there's a way. I understand how people think but that's not a fair judgement at all just hearing only one sided story. I'm not saying we don't believe you, but it will be more helpful if she'll share too what's going on in her head.

Every God Damned requirement they have imposed on us is supposedly to keep out these people pouring over right now. It does not keep them out. So why make us go through it.

You have two options to get updated information.
1. If you create a login with USCIS and add your case # you will be able to see the last updated date when you log in - it removes the validation errors.
2. If you want the updated date and you want to know what happened 'initial review, ARN changed' you should call the toll free number in the error message. Enter your case number through there and it will tell you step by step what has occurred.
Almost everyone is having this problem. I am able to login and see our updated date but not an actual status. Frustrating to say the least - I would think USCIS needs to put more effort into hiring and training staff to approve petitions instead of needlessly updating tools on the site which haven't even worked since their release.
