Discuss.

HOUSTON (AP) — The White House promised an appeal Tuesday after a federal judge in Texas temporarily blocked President Barack Obama's executive action on immigration and gave a coalition of 26 states time to pursue a lawsuit aiming to permanently stop the orders.

Expected the TRO. I took me several hours to absorb the 100+ pages of the decision. A very good read by the way.

Real question is: How long for 5th circuit appeal to overturn . 1 day. 3 days. 7 days. How long will the current TRO prevail for?

Evidently you and I didn't do it right. I'm being taught that following the rules, filling out forms and paying fees isn't the 'right' way.

It is not the "right" way. And they keep screwing over the folks doing the process the "right" way like me. STILL SCREWED!!!

No update on my status! Both applications say approved and no one can tell me why the applications haven't moved.

STUPIDITY AT IT'S BEST!!!

They need to fix the mess of a system they have in place now!

Totally understand, because my fiance (now wife), her daughter and I are victims of US government corruption who knows a lot more now that what most anyone who touches American immigration should ever have to know.

An archaic doctrine that needs to be burned to the ground!

We are the only nation on earth that puts so much power into the hands of one single human being, who is not supposed to have the power to reject petitions already approved by the USCIS, but nevertheless does it every day and is shielded from accountability by that f-ing law, and the petitioner and beneficiary are NEVER allowed due process.
