Contact your senator for your area, They have specialists that can help in these matters.

Do not do your medical till you have a scheduled appointment. The expiry of the travel portion of your visa is tied to the date of your medical. You have 6 months to use your visa from the date of your medical. Since no one knows when your interview will happen this could cause you issues like having to redo your medical.

Hello
Yes a you can give each other Power of Attorney over each others estates, And you both needs wills.
Here is one site you can use.
When we did our AOS we both had Wills and both had POA and Medical POA, This helped our case.
Check the laws for your state but Rocket lawyer will walk you though the process.
We used This site and it was easy.
Hope this helps

It does not matter if you are financially in a position. It can be done for almost no money and they look at those as good things. Showing there is a long term commitment, They can be changed at a later date as you do better financially. But these are good documents to have for proof of your commitment.

Also put together Wills and both medical and regular power of attorney. These
are a few more documents for the interview.

That is an unknown. If you paid by check I would put a stop payment on it and resubmit to the proper lock box. It is unknown when or if it would got the proper lock box. Maybe others have better info.

Very well could be. Per the instructions it should have gone to the tTX lock box for processing and forwarding to the proper location to be worked on.

The letter you received should tell you the address to send the response to. Include the letter with what you send back and keep a copy for your records.

Hello
I am in Southern Iowa and can help if you can get a license.

Time lines are uncertain at this time with all of the Office closures that are happening. Pre virus it could take 3+ weeks now it is uncertain. With the consulates and embassy's closed and appointments cancelled it is going to take a long time for current petitions to to come to the front for consideration.
Good luck with your journey.

I'll do the same in Minnesota if any one is interested. Not as exciting ad Vegas but county services are supposed to reopen next week after they installed protective measures at the service counters
Once things open Up In Iowa I can help with this also

Will not cause any issues at all.

We waited 2 weeks before we went to the SSA

yes it is best to wait for his info to update in the save database. If they can not find his info they will have to hand verify and it will take a lot longer. We waited and did not have any issues.

So questions:
1) Would you trust USPS to actually deliver this notice given they've massively ###### up twice now? I get junk mail just fine You do not have much choice
2) What does the Biometrics appointment actually involve? Fingerprints and photo.
3) Is this going to be an all day thing or will I be in and out in a couple hours? Depending on how busy your local office is should be in and out fairly quickly. There is not much to the appt.
4) Do I have any redress with USPS over any of this? I've now burned through one of my ten allowed SSA cards and now I'll be having to take time away from work to continue dealing with this mess. None that I can think of.

Error 500 is a server error. The system you are accessing is having issues. Try again in a at or so. Let the it techs get the server back on line. It is nothing you did.

Congrats.

Yes take the joint sponsor paperwork with you to the interview, Read the instructions and make sure you have all of the required documentation, IE Tax forms with all schedules or Tax transcript.
-
Please post a copy of the RFE with Personal info removed so that all can see the wording. This will help getting you a better answer.

That is good but I would add a will and medical power of attorney, also any utility bills that are in both names Also copies of your DL or ID with same address.
