Azontodance got a reaction from BraveAmnay in NVC 60 Day Delay??? From even looking at Paperwork???
NVC had recently became the world beast!!!! I have been at NVC stage since April 28, 2014. My ds 261 took 50days before they reviewed it. AOS package 60days, IV 60days queue. Remember, after case complete, some embassy like lagos likes to schedule interview a month and half (45 days) in advanced. If you ever get a checklist, then you could be stuck for additional 60days for a checklist.
NVC have decided to destroy people's lives since the day of there 60days craziness...They have choose to control people's lives. Do you know why? Whenever u call NVC, they would pull your file and read you their 30 business days / 60days script. I asked why couldnt they just review the ds 261 just a contact information???? why can't they approve or deny once they pull from the system? why does it have to be hanging in the air and seat down waiting for the calendar to clock 30 biz days? She said its their own rules and they have to follow it.
Why couldn't they make the rules of *Once they start working on your case, they shouldn't leave it idle until they complete it before pulling newly approved once from uscis* Simple as ABC!
Few homes have been destroy due to the stress of NVC, few have dead due to the stress..... Let see who don't reason with this!!!!

Just an I-864W for your child, if they will immediately become a US citizen at PoE when they activate their immigrant visa and become an LPR (for one second, then a US citizen the next).
The NVC was right in that they cannot give legal advice, and given how much they and USCIS get wrong on a near-daily basis, it would be truly terrifying if they could.

The expedite is highly unlikely because the interview is in Lagos and they can always relocate their where its safer. seeing that the city isn't under siege. But it doesn't hurt to request all they can say s no.
How long well you have about a few days to a week before AOS comes and other stuff and paying Click on the NVC Process wiki in my signature. Once you send the packages AOS and IV its about 30 business days to review . So best case you are looking at end of June Case Complete and either a August or September interview.
Also how long depends on do you have everything ready now to send in?

You are so welcome. I think you could probably get through the NVC in 5 months and have your interview date. When it comes on to the interview after your wife gets approved they may put her in Additional Processing (AP) so she might not get her Visa right away. It can take several days to several weeks for her Visa to be printed. Sorry to hear about you daughter, I think you should speak to the NVC once your case gets there and see if they can have your case expedited. All the Best:-)

Is one of the parents of the baby a US Citizen? If the child is a child of a citizen they they will not be on a I-130.
The mailing address on the I-130 should be the US address. You need to have a reliable address because they will be mailing you things. This is where they will mail your notifications (NOA1 and NOA2) and any other notices. Doesn't matter if mailing and residence is different.
You do not want to use a Nigerian address.

A lot of people commenting here have no idea what they are talking about.
No CRBA=No citizenship. It's not automatic. You have to prove to the CO that the child meets the requirements and in the end the CO makes the decision whether or not to issue the certificate. In this case I don't think a CO would ever issue a certificate to a felon even if they did meet the requirements. Plus there were previous opportunities to establish the citizenship before he was deported.
People can relax as a CO is never going to issue this certificate because there are way too many unanswered questions. They would require a DNA test just to stall the case but if the father is dead or unwilling than this is a non issue. He's never getting citizenship.

What I don't get is how was he a GC holder for 12 years and citizenship never came up? Seems to be some key details missing from this story.

I think Dallas is a relatively fast DO. After your FP, you should receive shortly a status update about being placed in the queue for interview. Then it shouildn't be too long before you get another update saying that you are scheduled.
I remember when I was going through the citizenship process and I compared the Dallas, Houston, and Austin offices...

What you really need to understand now is that if the other woman(ur ex's wife) find out how you have been stucking her marriage, you will get charged, and everything would be use against u in the court of law.
Your ex can still deny all the allegation and the uscis are not stupid, they understand how impatient women can be so jealous and try to rope their husbands. USCIS has nothing to do with your ex concealed previous marriage in Russia. They would throw it out of the window because even Obama would not sponsor them to go verify ur prove in Russia.
The innocent woman that u called Obese can do everything to make the USCIS believe that all your allegation are false and out of jealousy............I am speaking from experienced... Your ex would definitely get approved again.....

HI there !! this is not mandatory when my hubby and I filed the I-130 we only had our marriage certificate and pictures and we opted to ask our friends and family to write a letter saying they know us and they can assure that our marriage is legit go to a notary and get it notarized , don't worry about the bank stuff some of us don't even have accounts together just make sure you send a lot of pictures of the baby and her and you together and the money transfer is more than a prove tell her to print her statement and send it to you there is no more prove than your baby it ties you to your wife and it shows them is legit marriage,
I hope this solve your question oh and she doesn't have to change her name attached her birth certificate so they see she is the owner of the account.
    goof luck

You can not transmit US citizenship to your child since you were NOT a USC when it was born. You will have to file I-130 to get her a green card. Once she enters the US and is in your phyisical and legal custody, AND you are a USC, she becomes a USC through the Child Citzenship Act of 2000. Check this for more info:

I know many who just last year interviewed 1 to 4 months before 2nd wedding anniversary. They interviewed got approved and just stayed until the anniversary passed and than came over.
If a 10 year green card means that much why not. some don't care which is cool also.

accusing your ex that he comiited fraud doesn't mean that he comitted so. since, you already divorced him and you did your best to get him deported why you still care. he still can file a waiver. the uscis officer told you he will interview him that means they need to hear his side of the story. Even if the waiver got denied your ex can still fight it in court and it's up to immigration judge to decided finally. He still can file a new petition with his new USC, he will be questioned about his priror marriage but he still can get approved. My advice, Just move on. keep chasing your ex news won't get you any where.

Aleful is correct. What you might be able to do:
If you get the visa 20 months into the marriage, and the visa is usually valid 6 months, wait until your 2 year anniversary before entering the USA. That way, you get the ten year greencard right away and save yourself money and paperwork hassle 2 years down the line.

    Hi guys,
So yesterday, Nov 16, I went to Application Support Center 11777 Highway 6 South (at Voss Road) Sugar Land, TX 77498, for early Bio. My original appointment is Nov 29.
Everything went smoothly, Hubby and I arrived around 10 am. I went in, and gave my bio letter to the receptionist. She asked me for my Green Card then gave me a form to fill in. It took me less than 5 mins to fill the form and return it to the receptionist. She then gave me number 80. I only have to wait less than 15 mins before they call my number and less than 10 mins to finish the fingerprints and photo process. Less than 30 mins since I enter the office, my early bio done.
I hope this post would help anybody who want to take early bio at Sugar Land (Southwest Houston) ASC.
    Nanggroe.

You answer NO. Never claim to be a US citizen unless you have proof that you are one (US passport or Naturalization certificate).
You will be filing i-130 as an LPR. You need to submit a photocopy of your valid GC (front & back).

The i864 is not required in the initial i130 filing.
You will submit your wife's and child's i864 during the NVC stage, after you pay the Affidavit of Support fee ($88).
