It's 90 DAYS...Not three months. Count the days. If you file early the entire package gets returned to you. Good luck

Man if I used sources like this in my thesis, then I would have never earned my degree. Enough said!

By the way I am a clinical/research lab specialist and work in a lab where in 1960 Dr. Albert Sabin developed oral polio vaccine or else we would still have thousands of cases of polio every year here in US.

GoLdEnSkY99 reacted to NikLR in Social Security card
If your wife's SSN doesn't come in the mail within 2-3 weeks, you can go to an SSA office to apply. Often we find that going to apply, triggers action on the green card as well.
Also please take a look at Darnell's SSN How To. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/405546-ssn-howto/

GoLdEnSkY99 reacted to lucybelle in NVC Filers - January 2014
Just got I-130 approved! yehaw!
Although I guess I'll probably be more in the February NVC filers, I do have a question.
I live in Costa Rica with my husband and have been here for 2.5 years. I have submitted my taxes for those years and have my tax transcripts. I know my foreign income doesn't count towards the financial requirements but I do have enough in savings to qualify without a sponsor. I hope. The question that says "current annual income", do I put how much I earn? It's very little, definitely under the poverty guideline, but do I write it down anyways? Even though it's foreign income?
Also, how many and from how far back do I need to include bank statements showing that the savings did not magically appear in the last few months?

GoLdEnSkY99 reacted to MY HOPE in NVC Filers - January 2014
you can send it with AOS and as well add more with IV that is what i did and it was no problem
-
GoLdEnSkY99 reacted to Saylin in NVC Filers - January 2014
I've only ever seen it in the IV package as that package is all about the beneficiary. The AOS package is just about the petitioner's financial situation and if they can provide enough for the beneficiary.
But, since both packages are sent to the embassy/consulate, I'm sure that if you include proof of relationship in the AOS package, the CO will still see it before the interview. Just make sure you list what you're sending in the cover letter and I'd suggest putting it at the back of the AOS package. Put a blank sheet of paper on top listing it as proof of relationship, then paperclip that little section all together. Just so it's doubly clear to these folks.

Just saw this on a thread and thought I'd share here too as it's relevant. You can now get the IRS tax transcripts online (no longer need to wait to receive it by mail)!! Look here: http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript
This will make it even easier (and way faster) for people to get their tax transcripts to send to NVC

GoLdEnSkY99 reacted to NikLR in NVC Filers - January 2014
Because you have a lawyer both the AOS and IV are invoiced at the same time. You skip the DS-261.
Use the total income unless you use a 1040ez
The USCIS may send a letter saying post decision activity that says they sent the case but that doesn't mean it actually has left the building and been sent, just that it's slated to do so. Another misinformation line from the infamous USCIS.
