Hi well I have my share of shady lawyers. That's y I am in this position. One option is if he is in the US and has some legal statues where immigration will not take him make an appointment with the nearest UCIS office to see an officer to inquire. The other option is call the customer care number. The last and final option which I had to at times was tell the lawyer u want to see ur file u have a right to see ur file if there are no current documents showing work done u can tell him that u will report him.

you posted this a couple of weeks ago the amount will not change your friend need about 42,000 total
your friend  had 25,000, now he has 30,000 he still need about 12,000. It is probably better to have more then what is needed if possible so he should try to get another couple thousand more then what is needed

To answer your question... you will have to have a completed divorce to file a petition for a spousal visa (I-130) and even a fiance visa (I-129F). There is no way to file either without having your divorce finalized.
As others said, you cannot file a petition for a spousal visa because you have to be married before you file the petition- which you are unable to do if you are still married to your previous husband.
Similarly, you also cannot file a petition for a fiance visa because one of requirements is a signed Intent to Marry, saying that you are free and able to legally marry.
You're just going to have to wait until things with your divorce are finalized.
Are you in USC or the beneficiary?

Sounds like it's AOS from tourist, student, work visa. If wife doesn't show up to the interview, petition is dead. Wonder how she sponsored if she's sick?

You can: (i) make an Infopass appointment and ask an IO face-to-face what's going on, or (ii) contact one of your congressional representatives to enquire on your behalf.

If your brother is outside the USA, he cannot be a joint sponsor (unless he is US military).
