ap on the nvc level is minimal and quick.. have not seen any major hangups there.. it is really at the embassy where it gets ugly

My wife tried the same but was quickly denied due to the pending 130. She had plenty of ties to bring her back .. bank accounts, same job for 7 years and an approved vacation, apartment lease, and family members she is caring for .. but... five minute interview.. she has strong ties to the US due to me ofc and bango.. denied.. don't waste your time or money.. sorry, but we are all in the same kind of boat

on the new I-9 instructions for employers, they specifically instruct how to authenticate work status using only a passport and the 551 stamp, so no, they don't need a ss# to get started working from what I read

with the timelines of approval varying differently, there is no way to tell which of the petitions will go through first
yes many members say the k-3 is dead, but that is not true, it is still a viable petition process regardless of what someone here tells you.
with all the shuffling of the petitions and where they will get approved these days it would not surprise me to see your 129 go through first.
with the expedite, give it another try with uscis, make sure you speak with an IO if you call.
you will need to complete another expedite request at nvc

case files are loaded and available around 5-6 weeks after approval.. there is a little slowdown at nvc these days .. they will quote you give us 8 weeks to log it in

if you have a noa2 with an a# that would surprise me. I am pretty sure one has been assigned but it appears in NO place on the noa2 unless there has been a recent change.

you don't have a thing to sign at nvc any more with it all being online now
you will be sending a hard copy original of your birth cert plus a copy to the nvc as well as an original plus a copy of marriage certification/license.
copies of everything else is fine

my feeling is that you all will see a FLOOD of approvals beginning the end of this month.. I believe the files are being used to train at the new center which is why everything from may to now seems dead
uscis is in total reaction mode bcause of lovely mr president and daca..there was no preparation for the absolute avalanche of petitions that happened last year.
the customer service directorate is there and actually does help.. I really do understand how hard this is to hear, it is just about having the right dilemma and the right knowledge and those uscis cs directorate people jump on it.

I did one of these several years back and honestly I just don't remember how it all got put through, but we hired her and it was fine
maybe I will get my wife to get a job in November before the ss number comes and I will come back and let you know how it works
