Your post really makes me cringe. Your wife can't just be shipped back to her home country like some cattle, just because YOU want to. It is unfortunate that the marriage has fallen apart, but since you yourself say that there was no fraud involved, she will still be able to remove conditions by herself with a waiver. She what Boiler said.

So basically she came here in good faith and the marriage isnt working out so now you want to punish her??? Really?? Sorry but IMO that is really cold.

    Who knows why it's allowed.
I believe most cases involve circumventing the usual immigration rules even as those involved claim haste decisions that weren't preconceived. The reality is that as long as you make it past immigration, you're intentions no longer matter as they've already let your in the door so to speak...

If they flat out told her "we're looking for US Citizens only" and it is not the type of job that is legally permitted to draw that line (it's not--please read all the posts above) that that is the actual literal definition of discrimination and it is not OK.
I'd be MORE than happy to screw over any company that treats people like that, even at a bit of personal risk, but that's just me. (The chances that anyone remembers her in a week are nil, the chances that they remember the company are much higher). Hell, just have a friend call saying that they're doing an article for a local paper and ask the company for an on-the-record comment about why they won't hire foreigners. That could clear that right up. Honestly, you have to scare the snot out of people with their own livelihoods if they're ever going to change, and people who pull this kind of ####### *deserve it*.
If you're perfectly fine with being discriminated against based on your immigration status that is your choice. But you can't expect others to be the same.

This is not correct. The US does not care how many passports you hold. Once you hold American citizenship, they simply refuse to acknowledge any legal claim another territory may have over you. So Dual, or Quad, makes no difference.

Far out, sneaking around breeds more sneaking around. I wish more people understood this.
If you're asking the question "is he cheating" straight away, then your relationship already has issues, because:
    1. You automatically think he might be cheating
    2. You would rather consult an internet forum rather than ask your partner about it
    3. This type of thing goes on and on and on.
What happens now is that if you follow this route, your husband will start to hide purely platonic things out of fear of you assuming he's cheating. Then you find out. Then you think he's cheating because he's hidden it. And off we go to the races.

Ask him straight up what the third number is for! Why is it that hard?

actually, she did NOT share what the emergency was. She merely said she went to stop a disaster, you have no idea what her disaster was, nor does it matter in the least. She came here asking for help, not for a bunch of drama queens making judgments. In a perfect world she would have gone to USCIS and applied for emergency AP, but she CLEARLY stated she did NOT have enough time. And why does it matter to you or anyone else on this site if she was "careless", as you state? She had an emergency, she went home, it's water under the bridge. It's no ones business, including mine, why she went.

Honestly she doesnt have to share her circumstances in a public website even for an advice. It's none of our business to know her personal life . So no its not BS. Besides to help a person you dont have to know the exact situation to help with her mistake. All we had to know is she had an emergency ( don't have to know what it is), she got out of the country without proper authorization (unknowingly) and what to do to fix the problem. And thats how problems get solved without going into personal life.

Stop beating the OP up, she feels bad enough without you rubbing salt on the wound. Seriously you have posted at least 3 times about how stupid you think she is. You have no idea what her circumstances were, or why she had to leave so quickly. Obviously if she could have done it differently she would. Enough drama.

Honestly it doesn't matter at this point, and it's really not your place to judge her. Leave well enough alone. If you can't post something productive, stop making her feel worse than she already does.
To the OP, your only real option is to have your husband file an i-130 on your behalf and get things in motion ASAP. Right now it is taking about a year from NOA1 to visa in hand, but processing times are constantly fluctuating and you never know, perhaps it will happen faster. Good luck and keep us updated.

Isn't it great for you that you made your research for every single case that could happen, but guess what? Not everybody is you and everybody could make irresponsible mistake which Im sure you have made some in your life. The point that Im trying to make here is that you blaming her for what she did doesn't help. You don't know her situation at that moment. Besides saying that its irresponsible to get out of the country, if you have read her previous comment she said that if she didnt go she couldve regretted that decision the rest of her life. Now if she has done that, thats irresponsible. Now her leaving the country is not the end of the world not to her and not to you either. The only thing she has to do is start again from scratch.
So if you could soften a little bit your words toward her and stop blaming her for a situation you don't have a clue about, that might make her feel a little better. She also said she heard her situation at 4:30 pm and she left at 10 pm same day. Going to USCIS for an emergency AP is not possible depending on where she lives. Most offices close at 5.

I appreciate all the helpful answers. To the ones that are blaming me, I had about a day to get home before something really bad happened and if I hadn't gone back home, I would probably regret it forever. So please, don't be mean to me. It wasn't em easy to buy a plane ticket at 4:30pm to board a flight at 10pm the same day and leave my husband, all we worked so hard for and our GC application. It hurts and we are desperate.
So I kindly ask you guys to be judgement free and mindful to all the pain we are feeling right now.
    Thank you!

Threatening to leave the relationship because the visa process is not going fast enough has nothing to do with passing MY bar, it is plain bizarre !
It is not ok to spew this just because she is frustrated and mad like a spoiled child, needs to be supportive instead.
That's my opinion. Period. Crying, tears yes.... but threatening to leave ? Seriously ?

You have already paid the fees, go to the interview and use it to travel to the US. If everything works once you are together you can get married as you had originally planned. If things dont work out you can fly home brfore the 90 days are up. Using the visa would not make any difference to you both applying again at a later date, if that was what you both wanted.

Let him go back if he wants to, (though I doubt that he will). If he is that bad now, he will only get worse once he gets his green card. You need to put yourself and your child first, do not move anywhere.
