Had Naturalization interview at SFO, CA today. Pleasant experience. Went 30 minutes early for a 8:05 am appointment. Came out at 9:00 am with the "Approved, Congratulations" letter
 
Almost 1 year after filing!!!

Congratulations to all those who got approved this week. My NoA date is 17-June-16 & am still waiting. 
New approvals from CSC have given me some hope.

I received an email from USCIS last night
 
Application Type: CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED 

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production 

On January 25, 2017, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number WACxxxxxxxxxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. 
 
So relieved. Interestingly enough, this was the day after I spoke to a tier 2 person complaining about the delay. And to check they had my correct address on file. She said that they were currently working on applications from 4 days earlier than mine. So I wouldn't be able to chase it up until next week. And now I don't have to. Next step citizenship in three months time!

One of the senior Staffs was excellent & knowledgeable about K-1/DS-3025. She filled out my I-693 vaccination part without full medicals for a fee of $60/- (cash only). I went with an appointment to be safe.

I took
1. My passport, birth certificate, EAD combo card, marriage certificate and my US driving lic, latest I-94
2. For my husband, took his passport, driving lic, his employment letter (as he had changed jobs), recent pay stubs, his divorce decree & child custody
3. Photo album containing photos from each occasion/time since we met (dated) till that point to show how our relationship had progressed so far.
4. Copies of documents that have both our names &/or address like our car insurance, car title, bank account statements, joint credit cards.
I also went thru I-485 application especially the yes/no questions so that I know what will be asked. We got approved on the same day
Interview is generally simple for K-1 as we have already gone thru interview process before entering USA.

I thought they will take back the EAD/AP combo card at the GC interview. Is it not so?

If I were you, I would not mention anything about Canadian citizenship of your daughter.
By having at least one Canadian parent, she is "eligible" to be a Canadian but still you need to "apply" for her Canadian citizenship certificate.

Damn ....receiving the file takes time. now on top of it another month to assign a case number??.. Are you sure NVC received yours on 16-Aug? or is it 16-Sep?
Initially we were happy to be thru CSC & we were on cloud 9 after receiving our NOA2 quite fast..
Its only now we are realising the pain!!!
Oh God.... When will our day come

My Fiancee just called DOS today for case #.. same old reply..
Very frustrating.. we have to be patient.. I know..
Hopefully it will not make us "patients"
