Novembro reacted to Jon York in Expedited request !!!!!!!
Yes, it's a problem. ALL documents MUST Be translated into English. ALL DOCUMENTS! They won't accept it.
And along with the translation the translator must write a statement showing why and how they are qualified to translate the document.

Once trust is broken.....it never fully comes back.
When I found my husband of twenty-something years had been cheating with his best friend's wife for 2 years....I divorced him, because I didn't want the worry of where he is when he's a few minutes late home, who he's with, whatever.....Too much stress!!
She's got a 10 year GC....If she's got any sense, she'll divorce you, get citizenship after 5 years, and move on.
It's your fault she doesn't trust you, not hers!

What would I do? Let my wife divorce me, get some therapy for my issues with deceit and spend a fair amount of time reflecting on why I thought it was okay to hurt someone I vowed to love and honour for the rest of my life. Also, I'd make sure to grow up a lot before even attempting to get into another relationship, whether purely physical or not.

Novembro reacted to Cody and Daisy in Nervous about the interview?...
I thought I would post this here for those who were like me very nervous for the interview. I had mine yesterday and was approved. This is how my day went.
I left my house at 6:40am and arrived in the area of the embassy about 7:30.
After handing my large bag into goulds pharmacy I relaxed and made my way to Starbucks aiming to go to the embassy at half 8 as my interview was at 9.
In front of the embassy were two lines, the line on the left is the first one you need to go to as that one checks you in and signs your interview on their records, you then have to join the back of the line on the right.
I advise going in those lines a bit earlier than half an hour before your appointment as I didn't even get to the top of the second line until after 9.
You are then checked by a second member of staff and placed in a third short line to go through security.
I went through that fine with my phone, electronic cig, and even perfume.
You then turn right and walk around the building to some stairs which lead up to the reception, now she's the one who gives you your ticket number to be called.
I walked into the waiting area and literally sat down for about 5 seconds when I was called for the first time.
I brought a lot of ####### with me! And all they asked for was my birth certificate, police certificate, photos, support form and then I have them his IRS form.
I got back my chest X-ray on disc and went and sat back down.
After what seemed like forever which was only about 20 minutes of less I finally got called to my interview.
The man was lovely he asked me several questions.
When did you first meet and how
When did you meet in person
When was the last time you saw him
When have you/he visited
Did you meet his family
Did he meet yours
What does he do for a living
Have you lived anywhere other than the uk before
When's the wedding
When do you plan on travelling
Unless I'm just losing my mind (as this all only happened 30 minutes ago) that was it.
I was very nervous but answered every question promptly.
At the end he congratulated me and told me it was approved and it would take up to two weeks for my visa to arrive at which point I said I didn't care just that I was getting it! He smiled and laughed at that.
I made my way (without trying to run) outside which was the same way you came in, so I could wake up my love and tell him the good news (he just said I told you so lol) and called my mum and cried and then carried on telling everyone else!
Overall I was worried about nothing and it was pretty quick and smooth.

(quoted post removed for TOS violation - inciting hatred - has been removed - VJ Moderation)
Reality check. There's only two ways you can exterminate Hamas et al.
One - by exterminating all current members and exterminating their candidate pool (i.e. all Arabs in the occupied territories who are not crippled and/or bedridden).
Two - by removing the reason for a resistance at all.

(quoted TOS violation edited out - VJ Moderation) . . . . it will only prove that they learned nothing from the Holocaust.

I bet they wouldn't provide even that but for international pressure.

He is done with the peanut gallery and will only reply to respectful posters like himself.

With all due respect, you can't be sure of that until Unclebooze deigns to comment on it.

Novembro reacted to mota bhai in The next time you see images of dead women and children, remember who is responsible
With all due respect, to assign responsibility for this conflict and its casualties entirely to Hamas is a tad disingenuous.
You guys are occupying Arab land. That would be the original sin here. Not Hamas asking people to ignore evac orders.

Novembro reacted to JTB11 in One, Two... Many Rants
Good morning all,
back from medical follow up ....forms sent in. More forms incoming. Decided to find a place to live outside New Brunswick but might go with temporary housing for a month or so if i find any that does not cost arm and a leg.
nothing else new except that hubs seems to think that I will just change my mind after all of this and refuses to accept the fact that it is in fact over especially since he showed absolutely no change in his attitude since I started talking about it. Really ?

Those salonpas shites are actually great. When I was in full throws of the depo-withdrawal, I had insane back pain and they actually helped. Plus they smelled nice.
