True that! All the areas of Oahu Roda likes best are the rural ones with big, open properties. Waialua, Wahiawa, Mokuleia. She imagines having a house with a yard big enough to grow all the vegetables and animals she wants to cook fresh daily. Sounds really good to me!

Ahh, don't forget my favorites betute, bicol express, sinanglay, chicken tinola (great when you are sick) bibingka, suman at manga (great for long jeepney rides. Heck, great at any time! uhhhh, mango!) and my all time favorite longanisa together with cispy fried bangus and unlimited rice! yeehaw!

Not sure for your country. MIL just approved 2days ago in philippines. So many have warned about not saying anything about grand kids, visiting children married and living abroad, not enough money in the bank, showing property deeds, etc etc etc. my MIL has no property, makes 3000php every 3 months, gave the reason for the visit is to see her newly born granddaughter and her daughter. She is a midwife by profession. Approved.
I think the biggest factor is the demeanor of the one being interviewed. The counselor has so much experience being able to read the smallest differences in someone telling the truth and one who is lying. I'm sure there have been and will be those who are good enough or lucky enough to get away with a lie, but usually for us normal people, they can read us.
My MIL is very open, very straightforward and singleminded. I'm sure that helped more than anything else during the questioning as that IS the reason she is coming to visit.

My wife received her conditional green card 2 weeks ago! Only took a week from the interview in Honolulu. Awesome! Her name was incorrect but we already received the letter to correct this. As this was a USCIS error, there will be no additional processing fees for the replacement card. Yes! You do have a 15 minute recorded phone call verifying identity and course of action with a USCIS representative, no problem! I guess we won't be posting here for another 2 years when the condition release moment arrives.
Now, fo all da (new) bruddahs and (new) sistahs hea in 808.
We like make LUAU! Celebrate Roda's Green Card! I dunno, maybe Magic Island or Ala Mo's, Kapi`olani, anyplace can make hibachi! Shouting out to all da VJ localz who like meet and eat. Talk story, swim, wot u guyz tink?

We are finally together!! Roda arrived an hour ago! Just a bit of confusion at CFO Manila, the old Filipino man had released her the first visit before she had competed all the paperwork. He started acting angry at her, trying to push her around saying BS things, "anu? You trying to get me fired by saying that I released you too early? that I made a mistake last time?" She won't be pushed around by BS people and retorted "oy, you want me to tell that you in fact, did?" Hahahahaha! That's my girl!! Call it like we see it. People gotta be responsible for what they say and their actions, period.
Just wanted to say thank you to all of those who have helped us!! Wedding comes next, then AOS. will check in later once we reach that point!

He took advantage of her naivetee and made it look like.he's a.caring person by living and taking care of his mom. In reality, REALLY???? Red flags!! He's acting like a spoiled kid who doesn't consider others when HIS wants are on the line.
I'm so tired of reading about good Filipinas being treated like this.
Forget it. This one is.not.fighting.for. every person I have ever spoken to, men and women, who have left losers like that, 100% have said it is.the best.thing they have ever done for themselves. It will hurt like hell but worth the pain to.leave a loser like that.

Howzit! Bra, go beach, get one tan and dress down when you are there. I wear no jewelry (watch, chains, ring...nuttin) wear Boroboro shorts and tank top.
