It's only what we allow for ourselves not what Allah(swt) allows, he gave us free will, so if we make the wrong choice I am sure it is Allah(swt) we have to answer to and not each other, alhamdolillah.

Don't apologize to me for my understandings - no offense but it is my business to be accountable for those.
First of all I said the US is a Christian dominated country, but one grouping the entire country as Christians is not accurate. I don't care how countries are referenced/grouped. It has nothing to do with halal meat vs. any other type. I am saying since this is in fact a Christian dominated country it does not guarantee Christians are killing all the animals for meat consumption. Practicing or otherwise.
As for other religions, do the ones I mention all follow the book and only the book? Sorry, I am no scholar on all the religions, but I do know they do not all follow just the Bible or Qu'ran.
And as far as being raised, there was nothing in this quote - but in general pigs are dirty, unclean animals. Give them a bath and keep there pen clean, provide them the most pure fresh food and they will still eat their own feces. When God told us not to eat pigs, Qu'ran or bible he said because they are unclean and forbidden. I personally don't care how one chooses to raise a pig - the debate that has been going on here between many members is if the meat is any worse for you or not than other animals, how some animals are killed and if it is ok to eat the meat from regular grocery stores or not.

The issue I have here is the US is generally a Christian dominated country, however not all meat here is from people of the book. How can you be certain the meat you are eating from a big grocery store chain was raised and slaughtered by someone/people of the book? There are millions of atheists, Mormans, Jehova Witness', Buddhists, pagans, etc. in the country overall. And a good percentage of the Christians are not even practicing at all. So really, you can call this a christian country, but you can group an entire nation as "people of the book". I really don't see how you can say all the meat here is just fine to eat for Muslims, based on the teachings of the Qur'an.

I don't eat pork and I don't hate pigs, nor am I trying to convince my fellow Muslims of anything. The only nonsense here is trying to have a friendly adult debatable conversation with someone who clearly is one-sided. I happen to live in the country surrounded by pig farmers my whole life, I know about pigs, apparently so do you, thank God we are all entitled to our own opinions. The End.

It is suspicious, but you were a LPR and did return to the UK after your marriage ended even though you didn't have to. I think that speaks volumes in and of itself. Had you wanted to stay in America, you could have and chose not to. If I was a CO, I'd probably think you weren't trying to get to America, but probably had a bit of a soft spot for Americans.

DO NOT CALL USCIS, this is not a immigration question.
There is no funds from the state for a parents post parental leave. You and your wife should have plan and saved extra funds for this period of time.
You do not have to take your six weeks period of time a the same time your wife will be on post maternity leave. You can take it after the wife has gone back to work if so desire.

With him being 23 then this path is closed to him and he will never be able to adjust status in the US based upon his father's petition, even if the father were to naturalise.
When his priority date becomes current, he would need to depart the US and interview at a foreign US post abroad for an immigrant visa. At that point his overstay bar will kick in, rendering him inadmissible, and he would then need to submit an I-601 waiver demonstrating why it would be a hardship to his LPR father for the son not to be admitted to the US.
He cannot use the new I-601A provisions to apply for a waiver from within the US since these only apply to immediate relative petitions, which this would not be.
Provided he is not from the Philippines or Mexico then currently the wait time for F2B preference (adult son or daughter of an LPR) is around eight years. If the father were to naturalise then he could upgrade his petition to an F1 (adult son or daughter of a US citizen) which would shave a year off the waiting time (to seven years), again if he was not from the Philippines or Mexico.

Applying for any non immigrant visa you will be required to prove that you will leave when your visit is over. That would be nearly impossible from Nigeria when you have a USC wife. If you want to live in the US like your prior post indicted then your wife should wilfe for an IR1 visa and you can move to the US. If your wives mother is truely in her last days your wife should be on a plane to the US to spend time not following you to Nigeria to advance your immigration efforts.

Emmm, you know, I'm from other part of the world, but if my wife would few times throw away food I just cooked, I would pack my belongins and would leave too, telling her "good luck with finding US guy as a replenishment", because it's extremely rude and disrespectful to do anything like this. Nobody can be blamed except the person who did it. If my wife expects me to be ok with all American food on the table, she has to be ok with my national food on the table either, or we can't live at one address, because respect has to be mutual, or it will be no respect around.

You go back and have the baby in Canada. The baby will be a US citizen. All you have to do is file a Consular Report of Birth Abroad at the US Embassy in Canada. The baby will be issued a US passport.
In the meantime, your husband can file i-130 for you and your two children (if they qualify as stepchildren based on their ages at the time of your marriage). You will all immigrate together in more or less 12 months.

Let's be honest, at some point we are all get through that phase, "Oh my!!! What are we going to do?! It's the end of the wooooorld! We will never be able to do this! We can't do this and that!"
You really really need to take a step back, because I'm afraid you can't see clearly right now. But I think you're on already on the good path.
Here's a couple of random suggestions:
    - Do not hire a lawyer, you do not need one. Your case is very normal and typical. Hiring a lawyer will only slow you down and make your wallet to shrink. This is the most important thing of your life, you want to be able to control it yourself, OK? (You seem this type of guy.)
    - Have a glimpse on the overall picture and process, but take one step at a time. The whole thing is too overwhelming at first. If you take it step by step, you will find solutions.
    - Do not jeopardize your love and life doing stupid risky things. Do it the right way. There are many stories here about some couples who had a very straight forward case but totally screwed it up because they thought they couldn't be apart for a couple of months.
I think these 3 things are the key.
It's not going to be fun, for sure, but you, like us, can make it.
You came thinking your case was "unique", of course it's unique for you, but you came to the right place, as we are or were as the exact same situation as you are right now.
I don't think those flamers have bad intentions, they want you to have a little more perspective. Of course, being crossed star lovers with someone who's really on the other side of the planet is much harder. Some people endure years of separation...
Again, it means you can certainly manage this situation, without tears.
We can only help you with the legal aspect of the immigration process but I think you need to figure out of couple of personal things first.
I would also advice you to look for advice and support in the Canadian section of this forum:

Back on page 4 Jim apologized and *still* some people are berating and slightly mocking his naiveté. Whether you agree with him or not, he came here to get some help/answers/suggestions and as a 1st time poster, if I were him, I'd be rather put off from posting a question at Visa Journey in the future.
I remember when almost any question posed on the board (and there were some CRAZY ones) was met with kindness and assistance from more experienced board members.
I guess my point is, the guy overreacted (he and his wife are probably panicked)- he apologized, can't everyone just get over it and be just a little bit more kind?

Oh and one more thing, just because you are muslim does not mean you have to find halal places to eat. You mentioed the above places not being Halal ummmm hello you are not in your country and yes muslims can go to any Pizza Hut, Subway, etc. Just because you go out for pizza dosent mean you have to eat pepperoni. Subway has tuna, and I do believe you can eat tuna.

It's true Muslims can go to any restaurant and eat. And yes, even tuna. But honestly I don't want my tuna being prepared with the same things the non-halal turkey or forbidden bacon that sits together in a place like Subway. The above places are not halal, nor forbidden - but it doesn't mean it is an easy choice either.
And the "ummmm hello you are not in your country" - might have come across a little harsh, it made me wince anyway.
Just saying we are here to have a nice topic of conversation - which I believe is WHERE to find HALAL meat! Looks like this could be a nice hot topic on it's own in the correct forum though!

    Hi people!
thanks to everyone who tried to help with a positive reply or a non positive, cause i beleive that critics helps too.
well i introduce my self, iam the moroccan fiancé and iam the owner of a very modest computer's shop called victorious sect's technology and i really wonder how this shop's name became the topic and not the case!!
so am going to feed the questions of some people and talk about my backgrounds of choosin this name hoping that it will end this situation of "store's name".
my shop was born in 2011 and as u know you need to follow steps and a philosophy to create a busness name, cause A good business name helps you succeed by being easy to remember"and seems i Succeeded in this " and representative of you and your business.
and as there is a stiff competition in this kind of busness here in morocco i tried to look up for a name who Expresses some challenge, thats when i was influenced by a hadith of the prophet muhamed peace be up on him who says:A group of my nation shall remain steadfast, on the truth, victorious, unharmed by those who oppose them, until the Day of Resurrection"...and muhamed didnt name this group by a name but the old shcolars of islam and not the new ones named that group by victorious sect or saved sect or survivor sect...
so i took the challenge word "victorious sect" and i added "Technology" cause i have to Determine the elements of my business wich is computers and electronics...and why i choosed victorious sect's technology and not saved or survivor sect's technology ,is to get a nice abbreviation of my shop's name so i thought that VST will sound cool then SST....so this is the story of this name.
and i dont care if this name is used from a terrorist group or no cause as i said this name was mensioned from the old scholars who lived in the past centuries...and my shop has nothing to do with any group or organization, and this word has nothing to do with terrorism and doesnt mean that,...so people who play extreme games or call ther self extreme team,is that mean that they are extremist!!!of course no its just names and words for the challenge.
and what it concern me yes iam A MUSLIM but i never been in a group who follow a man who go to the bathroom as i do,but i beleive in followin allah and his prophet and i beleive in the one nation and i hate to be a part of a group made from someone so am just a muslim dont panik!
and yo people plz just use some logic what a stupid terrorist who has a background to hurt people and who belong to a terrorist group callin themself victorious sect will use tht in a visa application!i think tht someone who wants to do a crime he will just hide his face and reality, and use a streape tease's company name or something like this...so i think its so inoncent to think in it this way.
well we are cool and we are not doing anything wrong, all we want is to be together and build our future and as she has a 12 and 15 daughters they can not be integrated here in morocco and we care to ther studies in the us and not like wht some people accuse muslims that they dont let ther girls to go to school, and as ther is more opportunities to work and study and build a nice future ther thts why we choosed to apply for a visa...and at last its our busness to apply or not "u hear me james"
and i just want to say something,in my interview first i said to the officer was good morning and she didnt respond me and the first she said is rise ur hand and swear that this relation is true!!And Through the interview one of her questions to me were when ur fiancé converted to islam i said "I THINK IN" So she judged my english expression and she said u think!!!and i said i mean first i meet her she was a muslimah like a year and half ago who means she converted in 2007 ,and for me when i used "i think" expression i was just talkin algorithm!
and then she asked me the weird question :why she converted to islam?
i said she was a buddhist and she did her research and thn she beleived in islam!
and thats when her energy changed and she said its just like that she chaged her life cause she beleived in islam?i said yes its like that...and after this i got a hail of illogical questions,so i was doin my best and i answered wht i know and i said i dont know for wht i ignore..
and i know tht my english is not tht much but i studied communication 10 years old ago and i confirm tht the lady wasnot professionel and am not her only victim but visajourney forum is full of her victims!!
so i will try to post whts happened exactly in tht interview when i have a time and thanks to everyone trying to help us and i hope that u got and understand my reply and sorry for my bad english expressions.
    ALLAH SAYS in Surah Al-Hujraat

Thank you for enlightening us! I apologize for having such a protestant christian background and mindset. My reaction, and I am afraid many others as well, comes from a christian point of view that the battle you are in against forces of evil is entirely an individual one. Christianity as a religion or sect does have a distant history of seeing this battle in terms of the group and that was manifested in the crusades. It is unfortunate for the great majority of decent, peace loving muslims that the actions of a few have so poisoned attitudes and understanding. Even those of us who try to see other points of view often need things like this name or phrase explained so that it no longer causes us fear or alarm. I would again suggest to the OP that she go out of her way to be sure that all who are looking at her case know from the outset, before their attitudes are set, that this name is not in any way indicative of the mindset that they belong to a group that seeks victory over non-muslim groups.
I apologize as well for bringing our more rough and tumble Politics and Religion forum kind of discourse to your regional one. I saw the OP's post on the home page and didn't initially realize I was in a regional forum discussion.

I don't understand what you're saying because you are no better than anyone else, so the immigration process applies to you as equally as it does to anyone else. MsHogan, myself and many others on here are just trying to inform you of the reality of the time-consuming process that is immigration. We have no motive to make you feel worse or bad about anything - it is just reality.
And, to be honest, I am sorry you feel that you are so much more important. My case is most important to me sure, but not so important that I feel like I should be pushed to the front of the queue and everyone else should wait. It is a process and everyone who applied before me deserves to be processed first. This forum is a community for people to support each other and reward one another for patience. We celebrate when others are finally successful, and we empathize with those of us still waiting.

I haven't had a tough time. I've had an easy time. That's why I said don't look at my timeline as a "normal" example because we flew through the process.
And most people here will also let you know that working with an attorney makes everything take a lot longer, unless you NEED a lawyer and don't have an option when there are special circumstances making it harder for someone to get approved. Lawyers don't have it in their best interest to move things along quickly and stay ahead of the game. They, from what most have experienced and shared here, wind up causing a lot of necessary back and forth which in the end delays your progress. When you read the guides here about getting through the process as quickly as possible, you'll see there are a lot of preparations that can be made ahead of time to stay on top of things. An attorney likely won't do those things.
    Again, good luck with everything!

Unfortunately, if you are not willing / able to put off moving to the US for a few months then a period of separation is extremely likely.
As already stated, if she pulls up to the border with a truck full of her belongings - without an immigrant visa - then there is a good chance she will be denied entry. She does not magically get a pass because she is Canadian or living with (or even married to) an American. To CBP she would merely be a Canadian citizen seeking a non-immigrant entry, and if she could not prove to their satisfaction that she would leave after her period of authorised stay expires, then a denial of entry is a strong possibility.
Get married and file the I-130 immediately, but it will take ~8 - 10 months until the visa is in her hands. During that time she could try to enter the US to stay with you for a few months, but again she may need to prove to CBP that this would be a temporary visit.
Unless someone is dying there is no way around these requirements (and even then it's iffy).
