yep...I'm still waiting, too. I know I posted about it here already but it's frustrating so I guess I still need to vent. NOA2 was April 11 2013. The first time I called I was told it can take up to 90 days to receive a case number which I think is baloney. The lady told me I have to wait until after 90 days to inquire about it. Sounded like wrong information to me. So I called back, of course, and was told to send the scan to the research email address. Which I did. I called again today and the lady was very rude and snappy. She asked me if my approval letter stated that my case was forwarded to the consulate in the country pertaining to our case. I said it's a K1 and it doesn't go straight to the consular... it goes to NVC for a case number. That's when she yelled at me. lol. "I KNOW THAT! BUT THATS JUST IMMIGRATIONS WAY!" she yelled into the phone. (whatever that means) Then she started rattling off some script (she was interrupting me and talking over me) about sending an email to that research email address. I told her yes, I've done that already. She replied "Oh you have? Did you get an auto response? I said yes I did. She said then I just have to give it more time. I asked if she knew what the time frame was for researching it and she yelled NO and hung up. Should I ask for a tier 2 person? Should I call USCIS to see if it has even left there? Sigh.... I just hope it isn't lost or at the wrong place.

Please help! I'm getting emails..... tons of them... it seems if anyone posts anything anywhere I get an email. I've checked my settings and notification settings. I don't know how to turn it off. I think maybe I need to stop "following a forum" but I don't know where to undo it. I just started deleting all my emails because I can't sift through that many trying to find responses to the posts I've made. That's all I want to follow.... just the posts I make and a couple of other posts that I'm interested in. Thank you. I'll just keep checking back to see if anyone answers this. I'll never be able to find a notification for this. Thanks in advance.

Really? Passport photos? Ok. Is 2 enough? He has his passport and age afadavit. So hopefully it goes well. I told him not to act anxious or they may "up" the price. But I'm sure he already knows this haha.

Is the birth attestation at Lagos national population commission still 2500 N ? Anyone gotten one recently? And what do you need to take to them for them to issue it? Thank you.

Got our noa2 for k1 on April 11 and still no case number. Nvc told me to send a scanned copy to nvcresearch@state.gov and the other customer service rep said it takes 90 days to get a case number I can call back in 60 days. For real? She's crazy. I'm going to send the scanned copy for research.

Also.... Sorry to keep adding things.... People have started conversations with me or posted on my profile page but I can't open the coversations. It takes me to the persons profile page instead of a conversation. And I can't find the page where I can post a status update and my friends can comment. It doesn't seem to be there anymore. By the way I always acess vj from my phone. I don't know if that matters. I'm trying to follow this thread but it hasn't shown up yet in the margin. I don't know what's going on but I hope it can be fixed.

Sorry... Correction. My followed topics is there but I can't toggle it and it's not a complete list of the topics I follow. And forums I follow isn't listed there.

You don't get an email when people reply? Are you referring to that (email notification) or the notifications you used to get on the site via PM?

I'm referring to in the right margin of vj it use to say topics I follow and forums I follow and I could toggle it to see new replies. It's not there. And when I click watch topic it use to ask me how I wanted to be notified. Now it doesn't ask. Yes I get a daily digest still. But not the option to receive immediate notification. I have to go into my content and try to find replies from there.

My "follow this topic" and notifier isn't working.

We got our noa2 April 15. When I called nvc they didn't have it yet. I'm really confused what I'm suppose to be doing now and about what happens at nvc. I posted this same question but I think it was in the wrong forum because I was told nvc collects my fees and affidavit of support info. I don't think that is correct for a k1 visa. Can someone tell me what I'm suppose to be doing and how to get our interview? And what nvc does? Should I be worried they don't have my case at nvc yet? Thanks.

My status for our k1 said your search did not match any data. What's that mean?? And can someone please tell me what nvc does? I thought they just mailed our stuff to the embassy in Lagos. Now I'm worried we have to wait on another approval from nvc. I dont know where our package is. We got the noa2 April 15. I'm really confused and don't know what I'm suppose to be doing now.

Even when I was living in Lagos for a bit with my fiance the electricity was off most of the time. Our pump was broken so we carried buckets of water up to our third floor apartment every morning and cooked on a small kerosene burner. I've lived without electricity and running water before so it was not a big deal to me. But what you are describing is not unusual, especially in the villages. It will not be considered an emergency or reason to expedite.

Well I looked up dhl because my fiance has sent me things from them and I was surprised that Nigeria was not a country listed in their drop down box. So I guess I'll use FedEx to deliver our copies of everything sent in with our k1 petition. Unless anyone has a better idea. If this gets lost in the mail we're screwed.also I want to ask if I've forgotten anything. In addition I'm sending our new evidence of an ongoing relationship (chats, call log, texts), new letter of intent to marry, an attachment for our g325a from both of us because we both have new jobs, the I-134 from me and one from cosponsor...each with letter from employer, pay stubs, and tax transcripts, and I printed off forms ds156 and ds156k and part 1 of ds230. Also instructions for medical and the paper to present for police clearance. We know not to do those two until it's closer to interview date. We're at nvc. I'm including my original birth certificate (yikes) and divorce decree. Copies or originals of our noa2 and noa1 and receipts? Whew. Have I forgotten anything?

I'm hoping our interview is delayed a bit. Opposite of everyone else. But we still have a couple of loose ends to tie up. I know God knows the perfect time for us. So I'm putting my faith in that.

My page is different and when I click on forums, the two I follow don't show up in the margin, neither do the topics I subscribe to. Well, the topics are there but in a different format. Forums not there at all.

The guide here says send the originals of everything that was sent in the original petition. Would that be my original birth certicate and divorce decree? I'm the petioner. Hi all. I printed out forms ds156 and ds156k for the upcoming k1 interview but my notes say my fiance also needs forms ds157 and ds158 and ds 230. What are those and where do I go to print them off? Oh, and my town library where I print won't let me log onto visa journey. They consider it a "chat" site. Lol. The embassy is Lagos Nigeria. I downloaded packet 3 but I don't see those other forms.

Thank you for clarification. I believe so too. We're just going to to use the attestation for the interview because we feel crunched for time.... Then go get the birth certicate. I think he will have to go to ogun for that.
