  1. I had a similar situation. I'm on my daughter's ATT with my own phone number but the bill was in her name.

    1. My number on the phone records matched the number I put on my petition.

    2. My daughter added me as someone authorized to talk to ATT about the account. She wrote a letter for me explaining she is the primary account holder and my phone is on het plan.

    3. I explained to ATT the situation and they added my name next to my phone number on the bill and I took a screenshot of it. From online.

  2. Tim/Mav are you telling me to let it go???? I did, as soon as he explained himself. I was trying to put the attention back onto his question and away from how he asked it in the start. And I don't think he wants relationship advice... Just a simple answer to his question. So if you misread me or thought I was doing something wrong, I'm sorry. And I will stay out of this thread because I don't want an argument like I've seen happen in other threads.

  3. Well until someone comes back with a definitive answer you may try to look it up in a search on here. I'm sure someone knows. And I think you'll have to answer questions about it at the at the interview. I've rd your divorce has to be completely final and you have to petition for someone you began a relationship with after the divorce. It doesn't matter if people think you are emotionally ready for another relationship so soon (although they mean well) you asked a specific question about a specific rule. Someone will post who knows the answer. Many smart people are on this site.

  4. Besides the jacket it looks like it does not meet the specifics, like the measurement from chin to top of photo has to be a certain measurement, pic 2"x2" (I think) and a few other measurements. These specifics are listed on uscis site if you search passport. They have examples of right and wrong and the specifications.

  5. It's a simple form you can download from this site. It doesn't require a lawyer to fill it out. You don't need their consent to fill another one out. Explain to your fiance you need to have an updated one to take to the interview. Hopefully he will agree it's not worth the risk. Refer him to this thread or the uscis site. It's not difficult to fill out and they should already have copies of the tax transcripts but update the paystubs and employee letter. Is he sending you a packet of copies of everything that has been submitted thus far? And most recent chat and call logs, etc. since filing?

  6. I think you received such a reply because you asked for help and when someone responded with helpful information advising you to update the information and take it with you so you will have it at the interview, you said you didn't want to do that because the lawyer said you didn't need to.

After all the waiting and hard work and all the money spent on the filing, and the attorney (which I assume is expensive), and the money that will be spent on medical, police report, etc..... doesn't it make sense to "better to be safe than sorry"? Why take the risk? Take the advice!

  7. To answer your question, my NOA1 is Nov 17. My timeline use to show end of March - mid April. It has changed a few times and now it estimates the earliest time as Feb. 18. But I know it can keep fluctuating and it's only an estimate. There are thousands of people applying for visas and this timeline only accounts for those that are VJ members.... and only those members that accurately fill in their timelines. I agree with the comment about there not being enough approvals lately for it to give a fair estimate. BUT some people in other threads say there vj timeline was accurate within about 10 days. Keep in mind it may have changed several times while they were waiting and by the time it got close to receiving their noa2 it may have been a better estimate. I have heard that those filing after August 15 are getting approved faster because of extra staff and cases being handled by an additional office. I don't know if this is true or if its a rumor. I don't know if it even applies to K1. I have to trust that God knows the perfect time for our case. And truthfully, if it comes too soon I'm not even sure if we will have everything ready we need to do. Hang in there. I know it's hard. If after 5 or 6 months you are still waiting there are steps you can take to find out why.
