Hi all. Im going to be mailing in the I29F soon and I don't know where to mail it. Somewhere I got the information to mail it to Texas and that's the address I've put on my letters and cover letter... but I just checked the processing times and saw that Texas doesn't even process those. How do I know where to send it? Thanks.

Gowon, (I hope I spelled that correctly. Now I don' see it anywhere to check it .) I wrote my "how we met" and I want someone to read it. It's not long. I read many of your post/replies and I would respect your opinion of it. However, I see you don't have a "send me a message" button. I'm just not sure if I gave enough info, or too much, or if it sounds mushy or not mushy enough.

300 to 500 pages. Good. I agree. Too much is better than not enough. Lagos is... well, Lagos. Just need them to see that we communicate on a regular basis in multiple ways and have been for over two years. In regards to the cell bill, emails, etc. I think I will provide a very generous sampling of every month and send my fiance the total of it all so he can say "I have more if you would like to see them" if he's asked.

Hi all. And blessings to everyone going through this process. I have a question(s). The one I'm most curious about is Question 1. I am gathering everything to put in with my I-129F and I wanted to ask everyone how many pages of stuff did everyone send in with theirs? My phone records alone are quite a pile of pages. Then there are emails, chats, pics,copies of travel iteneary, etc. Question 2. What do you think of this... I want to put it all in a binder with tabs. Like a tab saying emails, one that says phone records, one for photos, my trip itenerary and stamp to Nigeria, etc.

Quesion 3. I received a certified copy of my divorce certificate but its not a certificate. It's a few pages stapled that say Judgement and Decree of Dissolution of Marriage. It has a raised seal. Is this what a divorce certificate looks like?

I just asked this but I don't see that it posted. Forgive me if it ends up posting twice. I'm just curious.... because I'm putting my phone records together right now, too. How many pages do you plan to provide? All of them you have or just a sampling?

Back to the same question... Birth certificate or age attestation thing? I read those threads gown. I'm still confused. I'm either tired or stupid. Lol. Need to hear from someone who has gone through it. So far I got... Use age declaration to get age attestation. Can be done in Lagos although he was born in Ogun. It's coming as unknown but is the phone number the same as the number that has the name with it?

On my cell bill it shows both.... my calls to him and his calls coming in to me. That's what I'm going to use along with call history from my international calling card. And gowon, what do you mean by not amending the printouts?

Although am still putting together i29 pack we are doing whatever can be done on his side in Lagos. Which brings us to the birth certificate. I've read many posts regarding this and still confused. He has an Age Declaration from the court. Can he use this to get a certified copy of his BC? Will he need to show anything else with it (passport? Something from his mom?)? He lives in Lagos but born in Ijebu Ode state of Ogun. Can he get it in Lagos or must he travel to Ogun? Thanking you again. In advance.

Ok thank you. 2 more questions, if you don't mind. Does the cosponsor on the aos have to be the same person who cosponsored the k1 visa? And my potential cosponsor wants to know if it will in anyway affect his credit or his ability to buy a house next year. I understand his concern but don't know the answer.

I have a question about a sponsor for the affidavit of support. It would be a person other than myself. Will the sponsor need to show proof of income and tax returns every year? I'm trying to understand all the responsibilities and obligations of the sponsor and I believe I read that a sponsor is responsible for my beneficiary for ten years I'm wondering if he has to keep proving his income and eligibility to sponsor every year. If the whole process takes less than a year I'll be happy. Just want it done right and thoroughly from the start... No delays or complications. But don't get me wrong... If it happens by end of spring I'll be ecstatic!!

How do you access and print out chats... Like from yahoo messenger or nimbuzz? How do you get phone texts printed out?

I visited July 28 2011 thru Sep 2 2011. So it's been just a year. I want to start everything before much more time passes. We talk almost everyday on the phone. I can't stand this separation. It hurts. But I guess you know how it feels, also.

We planned for him to visit in April this year. We filed everything and he had an interview date but I was laid off work for 4 months then promised I could return to work in April. I travel all over the US with my coworkers. No way he could accompany me. And I only had unemployment income those 4 months...so we canceled the interview and trip. Forfeited money spent on fees. There's no way my job would let me off to go visit him again. Should I write a letter explaining that??

I know all about the romance scams and internet scams. We are the real deal. I'm not nieve about that stuff. We are genuine. Soul mates. Best friends. Lovers. Oh.... I miss him so much. You have me worried about the one visit only.

What is front loading? Enlighten me, please. I have visited only once. Stayed with him 5 weeks. I can not afford another visit as I barely meet the income requirements and saving all my money for these visa (and beyond) expenses, and help on part of his ticket here. Surely there is someone approved that has only visited once??? We have tons of cell records, emails, spanning over 2 years. My visit was a year ago. Hi everyone. I'm in the US (citizen) and my fiance is in Lagos Nigeria. I'm gathering documents I need for the I 29 petition. So, if my petition for a fiance visa is approved the next step is my fiance (Julius) will be notified and given an interview date, if I understand correctly. Couple of questions... I read that he will have to provide original documents of the documents I sent in my petition. I'm a bit scared to mail original documents to Lagos. Everything takes so long to get there and half the things I have ever mailed there never arrived. I'm wondering if I should start to mail him things now so he will have them in time but omg! what if originals get lost in the mail? Also I read that it takes a long time to get the police report and fingerprits done over there and he has to track down a copy of his birth certificate. Should he start doing those things now? I should have his signed letter of intent (he's mailing it to me to include in my I-29. Can he electronically send me a photo of the signed letter instead?)soon. I plan to mail my petition about the second week of October. I'm sorry I asked so many questions, I'm feeling overwhelmed. I don't want to make an error.
