Sorry, that is quite wrong actually. Even if she sends the paperwork 6 months after those 90 days are up, they still don't have to include an actual i130 form. The Op came here with a K1 visa, not on WVP. I think I remember seeing around here, that if they send the AOS 2 years after the 90 days are up, then the i130 needs to be included in the AOS as well

The K-1 is not getting to know your finance better! If you want to get to know each other better then go and visit each others countries and spend more time together NOT fill out a K-1 visa.

as long as you've seen each other in person and have lots of proof about your genuine relationship, everything should go smooth. i remember bringing to the interview our photo album, which had over 100 pics in it, but because it wouldn't fit under the window, the consul never asked for it, so nobody over there got to see our album...(bummer! ) just make sure you and/or your fiance brings a lot of evidence about your relantionship

This is among the worst advice ever posted on VJ.
1. If the above poster's petition got approved with such thin evidence, it was purely luck, or sloppiness on the part of the adjudicator. Primary evidence of having met within the 2 years before filing the petition includes boarding passes, passport stamps, etc. Photographs are secondary evidence at best. This is very well known and is beyond debate.
2. In no way can the above poster's situation be generalized to "the California centre aren't [sic] super strict on following things word for word." No way at all.
3. Poster, again: PLEASE avoid giving advice that could be misconstrued, and offering opinions as fact, when belief in either one could very realistically get people into deep or time-consuming trouble if they followed it. People who haven't yet filed a petition are reading this thread.
Original Poster: Wait for an RFE, if any. Do not (do NOT!) attempt to send anything extra at this time, because the chances approach zero that it would be matched up with your petition. Anything that you wish to send should wait for an RFE. This includes information that satisfies the RFE plus any extra "front-loading"-type material that you might want the consulate to see.

The spousal visa is cheaper and more elegant. The immigrant becomes a LPR upon entry. They can work and travel straight away. You can still visit during the process.
If you refile K1 you could file tomorrow, that's the only upside to me.
But I don't think people should plan life plans based on immigration plans. The real question is, where do you want to get married?
Keep in mind that to marry in the UK the USC needs a special marriage visa, even if they are going to just leave afterward.

I'm not starting this topic to offend anybody or to start a beef just for the beef sake. After several months of being on this very helpful forum (it's a life saver in many cases! ), I have this general observation that people do not even bother to read instructions and guides. It seems they don't even bother to use a search engine to look for answers to their questions, but just bluntly create a new topic to ask their question that has been asked 3 to 5 times the very same day. Sometimes there are several topics one under the other(s) about the same thing. It makes the forum bigger and bigger mess every day.
I know this process is long, exhausting and above all confusing at many points. It really is and also has been for me. I always try to help whenever I'm logged in and I'm able to help (when I know how), because this is the main purpose of the forum -- to help and support each other. But even earlier today I read posts in a topic from more experienced forum members that the question about Texas lockobx and Texas Sevice Center comes up way too often and perhaps should be pinned somewhere to be visible. When I browse through the K1 forum, I see more and more replies that are only like "Read the guides" or "Follow this link", because these are basic questions!
It's all there in the Guides, in the Downloads, on the Visa FAQs etc. My plead for new users especially is to first research and read, and then if your question/issue is still not answered or it's very specific to formulate a question on the forum.

I don't know if they work on Saturdays, or they just update the status cases on Saturdays, but I can tell you for sure that I've seen on uscis.gov cases approved(or RFE's ) on Saturdays...last Saturday to be more exact, before I got my approval
