Help with G-325a question

I am really new here so please excuse any mistakes I might make.

I'm trying to fill out the G-325a form and for the question Aplicant's employment last five years

I have a gap of about 10 months in employment, BUT I was just starting college, going for another major, so I don't have any records of employment.

I don't want it to show like I was out of a job for 10 months and i'm not sure how to mention I was in college (that i am still atenting, to this way- will finish this summer)

Any help will be very much apreciated.

Your work status isn't relevant to the USCIS portion of your approval. They just need the facts of your case. Even if you didn't work the entire time, you can still get approved, it just may mean needing a sponsor on the next stage of things. It's at the interview where you need the ability to prove your affidavit of support with documentation such as work records, tax returns etc. If you can prove that at that time, then you are fine. If not then you would need a co sponsor who could fit the financial criteria. Either way that has no bearing on your G-325a form, so just fill it in with all your factual data and you'll be fine

Like i said before i am very new and have no idea how to edit my post or how to reply (hope this works)

I am not the one that needs to do the affidavit of suport, since i'm the foreigner, but it is not evident in my post and i apologise for this..

I was under them impression, that both me (the alien) and my fiance (the citizen) have to file this form.

My worry was that I hope they don't see this as me being a potential burden on the state, I imagine I won't because I have two major,s one of which is in demand in the US.

I am just really freaking out because I want this to go as smooth and fast as possible.

As the alien fiancee, you don't need to worry about that. On the form DS230, which you will receive from the Embassy after you get your NOA2, is a question where you have to list all your educational institutions attended. So, don't worry about it!
