So what are some of you people reading? Am I missing something?
Consular office says: she misrepresented and changed her identity on official Lao documents in an attempt to circumvent U.S. immigration law. I don't read anything here that says the op was involved.
Consular office says: Furthermore, evidence also exists that raises PROTECT Act concerns. The word concerns does not equal guilt. It is 100% possible that this op was duped by this girl and her entire family. Some families have been known to put together elaborate schemes to get money from foreigners holding family meetings and setting up elaborate plots. Of course we don't have any idea yet whether this girl is 14 or 27 now do we?
If this op is innocent I hope he is exhonorated, if he is guilty I hope he gets locked up. He is just lucky that none of the persons making all of these accusations of guilt will not be on the jury (assuming there is ever anything that gets investigated) or he would be found guilty for sure, irregardless of the truth. Remember, in America a person is innocent until proven guilty. That is one of the reasons people want to immigrate here, it ties in closely with freedom. It seems many have forgotten this.

It looks like the girl lied to OP and USCIS, I don't know why everyone is jumping on him he already said the girl disappeared after she didn't get want she want she is clearly a manipulator and a user so its not unlikely that OP believed her originally. Other than the wanting to go back to make videos (buhahahahhahaha) that comment seriously just made my month, I don't know why people are attacking OP for sleeping with a minor just based on the information he has shared with us. ( Also when I was 16 I could have passed for 20 especially with make up.)

I am surprised at the piling on of this guy with so little to go on.
As I read his words:
1) He didn't know she was under 18 (he saw family documents indicating she was older than 18) . . . and still does not know what her true age is.
2) He never said he had sex with her. The words he received only stated they were looking into it since she had changed her name. Didn't say they knew she was under 18 or that they had knowledge of any sex between the two.
Well sure, I agree that shouldn't be having sex with underage persons - - - in any country; but no evidence presented here that it happened, and the authorities didn't even suggest it had; just that they were going to turn the info over to some other agency to pursue it further.
Yes, I agree the true silliness was him wanting to go back - - - for any reason and under any circumstances.
Of course there may be a real case to be made for this person's involvement in something illegal. But the poster has never presented such - - - and certainly no one here has presented any such evidence.

Hello everyone, so my fiance had his interview October 16 on a Wednesday and everything went well and got approved, and the consular gave him a pink slip to go pick up his visa the next Wednesday which is today October 23. He went to pick up his visa and on the way there the embassay called him and told him to not come because the visa isnt ready yet, my fiance asked her if there is anything wrong but she said no everything is fine and we will call u to come get it when its ready
Then I checked on the ceac website for the visa and it went from ready to administrative processing!! What does this mean? Will this take long???

You are refusing to listen. Others are trying to help you but you are in denial of what the letter says. It does not matter what the senators office said...what matters is what the letter says an that is that your case will be forwarded to the expedite team for review.

He is not admissible to the US because he was proven to be a drug user. There are no rights given to Americans to bring a drug user into the country as an immigrant. Her concern now is if he can be eligible in the future with convincing rehabilitation.

Okay I am going to play devils advocate here. Are you certain she is telling you the entire story? Is it possible that she has changed since she got to America? Is it possible that her attitude and caring for him has faded? Of course I will say the fact that he is 47 and still lives at home CAN be a red flag but not necessarily. I am 57, my beautiful Filipina wife is 20. She came here knowing that I was living in my parents attached unit. I was literally assisting my parents, 87 & 85 each and every day. They truly needed help. They have since sold the house and have moved into a very nice retirement home. I will admit the stress between my wife and I had lessened now that we have our own nest. It can be very stressful living with family members. Just my thoughts.

Your dad is going to sign up to be the co-sponsor because you don't make enough money to support your fiance even once he gets here. Your fiance smokes weed the day before his medical. (Irresponsible fiance?) Oh come on now, who doesn't know that drug tests will be conducted at the medical exam? Something just is not right here.
So here are my questions: Is your fiance working three jobs and supporting you? Are there any plans for him to do this?
He can afford to buy and smoke weed but you are struggling and can barely makes ends meet now. In fact, you can't even support him when he gets here and that's why your dad is going to be the co-sponsor. Are you sure you want to get yourself into this situation? Sure, you might love him but...think about it.

He can apply, but would need to declare his previous visa refusal. His chances of receiving an approved ESTA are not zero, but are pretty damn close to it right now.
Scotland is part of the UK; the OP would need a visa to marry there just the same as they would in England, Northern Ireland or Wales.

Having a tourist visa will not assist him in this situation, if he had one it has now been cancelled based on he information from his interview.
BTW, states have made pot legal, not the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT and he is asking the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT for a visa.

Your petition is now dead, it was denied. He will not be eligible for ANY type of visa for any entry into the US before a 1 year of suspension is up. The US embassy is under no obligation to spell out the terms of this type of denial.. You can contact an immigration lawyer to understand better what proceeding the beneficiary will need to enter into to qualify for a new visa application after a year has passed.
Please note, nor a lawyer, nor senator or congressman can assist in this type of denial.
BTW, the beneficiary knows more than he is sharing if not than the didn't ask he right questions at the interview.
