actually you are the one overreacting and attacking every single person who makes suggestions to you about how to the pass time. You clearly have issues with anyone who happens voice an opinion. If you only wanted replies from people who want to kiss your azz or buy into your woe is me attitude, you should have said so. Everyone here can relate to what you are feeling, understand that. yes, some may think you are being redic by complaining now, but also, place yourself in those persons shoes who have waited 6-10 months for just NOA 2, or even better yet some of my great friends who have suffered the HORRIBLE AP for YEARS!..yes, YEARS!
In all honestly, you are in charge of your own happiness. if you are not happy, and bored with life in general, make a change! go get a job, take walks, make new friends. no one can tell you what to do, or what to not do. I just suggest finding a hobby, anything. Clean houses, Clean yards, make scrap books for your husband / Fiancé. possibilities are endless. again we ALL feel your pain!

I don't think that 3 months is ridiculous. It takes time to process files. I would have been happy with the total of 8-9 months of total processing time that they were averaging when I filed my petition. That being said, I do think it's silly that petitions that were filed after you are already getting their NOA2 if they're in the same service center. Have you checked on the USCIS website to see when your file was last touched? Have you had your fiance call to find out what's going on with your case?
Again, I've been waiting for 8 months.I still don't have an NOA2 yet. If 3 months is ridiculous, then 8 months must be obscene to you. Perhaps you are only considering your own pain, and not that other people have been waiting much longer. Imagine that you've already been married for years, and can't see your spouse for that long. It really sucks. I'm not saying that what you're going through isn't difficult, it most certainly is. But you will probably be approved and here with your fiance long before my husband is here. And I have a hard time commiserating with you when you are being nasty to people who are basically agreeing with you.

Because K1's are a non immigrant Visa. CR1's are an immigrant Visa. Apples and oranges. Different processing, having to adjust once in the States. I don't like to see the sort of ' congrats and I hope you appreciate it because we are all suffering so horribly'. It's like they are allowed to be pleased they appear to be moving forward, just not TOO pleased. Let's remind them all how hard WE have it. It's inappropriate.
By your logic it would have been just fine for K1's to post in a CR1 thread. But, no. It got ugly. Given the latest hold ups in processing for spousal visa's, there seems to be more of it all the time.

This is not true. Being from those countries does not make your I-129F petition get processed any quicker than someone else.
This is so true. The petition for the I-129F fiance(e) visa is not the same as the I-130 petition for an immediate relative. The I-130 requires much more evidence presented along with it for one thing. I do not think the processing times for the I-130 should be taking so long, but it is what it is right now.
The approval times change all the time. Not too long ago the processing times for the I-129F had people waiting 8-11 months or so for an approval. They were averaging at 6-7 months. And just to add to the response to the above about people from Mexico, the UK and Canada, I recall a particular one from Mexico waiting almost a year for an approval while others all around them that sent theirs months after them were getting approved.
This happens all the time. Over the years, sometimes processing is slow and sometimes processing is fast. It is an up and down roller coaster, and if you are lucky to get in when things are quick, then you should not be made to feel bad because someone else is having to wait longer than you. There are other posts to rant about your wait times. It is not the fault of the OP that the I-130 approvals are so slow at the moment.

Oh but I do. And K1's were told they ought not to post in CR1 threads. The same courtesy would be refreshing.

This thread is a question by a K1 petition filer, who got their NOA2 in short order. It happens. It's no place for scolding lectures.

With all the promises Obama and the Democrats made about Obamacare, The Affordable Care Act... Why is anyone seeing an increase in monthly premiums and/or increased deductibles.? The purpose of the law is to provide more people with health insurance at a lower cost/ affordable.... Wasn't one of the purpose of the law to lower healthcare costs.? But some people have increased costs...

Fix it? The damage is already done. People have already lost plans and affordable care now costs more. This entitlement is rolling down hill and picking up speed.

of course we should do more to make sure people don't come illegally. one way to do that is to provide more avenues for legal immigration. another is border control. do both.

So what you are saying is that we should have no immigration controls or laws? I understand that you may feel sorry for these folks, but there is a reason why we have these laws. You can't just open the flood gates and let anyone come here just because they want to. It may seem that simply letting them stay because they are already here would solve this issue, but that would just open the flood gates and not solve the problem at all. They tried that approach back in 1986. It obviously didn't work.
