Reality check: 3 months for NoA 2 is fast, and lucky. Expected time is 5-6 months last I looked.

Some cases are different as well, maybe there's an RFE sent out, maybe it came to TSC in a different load than others, (likely, as TSC doesn't usually process I-129Fs, but has taken on backlogs in recent months to get that cleared.

It's plenty fair, and if you're getting this worked up over 3 months, I have bad news for you for the rest of your journey.

Sorry, but you are a filler from Vermont right!?

You were getting approved in 103 days from your NOA1 today we have reached 100 days of waiting for our case!

I'm impressed about you, but please don't tell me it is fair than! You can tell me what you want but I don't see why people should get approved in 12 days, have you seen the graph from TSC on igors list?! Compare it to VSC and CSC the bars are almost the same high and they look like they work first on all august fillers before they go to september, october OR NOVEMBER fillers! Sorry!

I was a Vermont filer, yes, and I recognize that getting the NoA2 in a bit over 3 months was lucky. Vermont has typically been slow and well past the 6 months processing times. We were realistic about the process though and realized it could take as long as 6 months, since it can.

It's going to be the same for every step of the journey. There is no particular rhyme or reason to what they do. I saw people get interview dates from the embassy who submitted all their paperwork after us. It's just how it goes.

You're getting way too worked up about this, it won't do you any good.

47 days for my noa2 - august filer.

But I have a feeling a bunch just applied from non high-scam countries.

If it is from high scam countries, it takes much much longer.

I really wish you with my heart the best and that you don't have to wait son long anymore for it!

This waiting "game" is killing you inside and I think I'm right when I talk for you too that everyone who had this experience of waiting so long comes to a point where he or she is really depressed and crying a lot. I'm already down but I don't want to think about waiting 8 months for our NOA2 ???

And i think my parents also not.....

I understand you, when I was at that stage, people who filed weeks after me got their NOA2's before me. Then I had to wait weeks to get my case number because CSC took their sweet time, unlike other service centers that got theirs in 2 weeks. There is really no order on how petitions are handled or there's no telling if you will end up in the front or the end of the line in a blink. I also know how really hard it is when you don't have a job and all you can do is wait. Just find something to keep you distracted or you will really go insane. Best of luck to you.

I'm sorry that you are frustrated with the process but you should be glad that you didn't file in 2012 where the wait was 7 months. We filed in November 2012 and we were not approved (NOA2) until June and her interview was August 2013. Think about all these people and consider yourself LUCKY that the time has dropped!!!!

You can sit and complain all you want but it will just make you more upset. Use this time to look at the requirements your fiancee needs, start collecting those documents so when they get the notice, everything is ready to go.

Yes thank you for your meaning here, it helps me a little that people understand how I feel at this point and that I'm not only always read that people get approved in just a few days and that they can imagine how it is to wait so long.

I feel like I did something wrong but I know I didn't,... It is hard to explain this emotions in a text when you're inside totally disturbed because days are not really passing by because of no job and the weateher is also everyday grey here now and cold in germany so you can't stay outside really long anymore.....

All I can is hoping that this will finally find an end ?

I agree with that post. I understand the frustration very well, but things are relative. At this point, people should be happy they did not file a year or two ago. My NOA2 took six months in 2012 (plus another 3 months of waiting until I had the visa in hands), and a friend's NOA2 took 9 months. I remember my frustration when I was getting closer and closer to six months of waiting at VSC, while others who had filed months after me at CSC got their NOA2's weeks before me. I was so upset about the whole system.

The system sucks and is unfair, but there is nothing you can do about it. OP, try not to revolve your life around the NOA2, and only worry about things you have control over. Don't let this whole process consume you. I do not know if you are the German beneficiary or the USC, but while waiting for my NOA2, I was in a similar situation as you - I did not have a car, no job (due to finishing up my Bachelor's Thesis at university, which took all of my time), and I had to live off my savings. It was hard, but I made it through it, so will you. I promise it is worth it. :)
