I hope you never have move to another country or even anothe culture, because you have no idea whatsoever. I was homesick the first three months I came here ... But I was strong and made it. Some people aren't and you can't blame them. Everything you knew in the past is gone, you have to adapt to a 100% new life, not just a marriage. Your comment above is by far the dumbest one you ever made. You may know your lawyer stuff, but it doesn't seem like you have a heart ...

Some people just don't wanna give all their private information to a public forum. I also refuse to let people know more, than they need to know. Sure doesn't make me a troll. How immature are you?

Doesn't matter! You wife is able to use her maiden or married name now. The marriage licsense counts as proof for the name change. Mostly, on the licsense there's just the maiden name, that doesn't say anything tho. If you wife would like to take your name from now on, fill out the papers with the new name. All the documents, greencard, SS card & drivers licsense will be in the married name too!

I don't understand why going back to Italy is not an option?!? How is she able to live here? Se can't work, has no SSN ... You should go shake hands with other people here on VJ that always say: going back to ... Is not an option. It's not a 3rd world country!!! Italy is amazing.
There is NO reason to get her a greencard. No ground nothing - an immigration lawyer can't help! He has NO CASE.
