It is a bit different for you though as you are from the UK not a MENA country.
MENA country applications are more heavily scrutinized.
Similarly, most are not eligible for the VWP to make frequent visits which adds validity to the relationship. You lived together thus making the relationship evidence even stronger, you can also travel to the US for up to 3 months without a visa.

I am pregnant. I am going back to Australia for the birth. It worked out cheaper even than using my husband's insurance OR paying out-of-pocket and getting a discount for self pay- our self pay OB visits just for the 9 months of pregnancy were $5000 or so + extra for some labs and special ultrasounds. Also as we may stay in Aus for a while we may be applicable for the baby bonus so, free birth/ in hospital care , $5000 which will cover our airfares. It worked out cheaper to go to Aus.

If this woman really loves you, great, but, in knowing her for only 6 months and only knowing her while she was married , how can you know her intentions were/ are pure? For myself, I would not talk to another man in an intimate way if I was married, even if I was unhappy. I believe it is not right. I also would not want to jump straight into another marriage if my first was failing, even if I had to leave the US. Marriage is meant to be forever. You are not supposed to be thinking, well I have a 50/50 chance... At least at the start, right? You are supposed to think, I am the 50% who will make it, without a doubt!

You can get your skype logs; show messages from : yesterday, last 7 days ... pick which one and then crtl C +ctrl V.
Chat logs are secondary evidences, some people send hundreds of pages, some send a few pages through out the time of their relationship, realistically that latter is the best option - the IO is NOT going to read 200 pages of chat. Just print a few, maybe one from every month you have been together or a few from the start of your relationship, a few from now and a few from the middle. These items aren't the most important in regards to the petition.

Both the K-1 and CR-1 visa take 6-12 months to be completed and it is then assumed you will live in the US.
If you plan to stay in the UK and your fiancee plans to stay in the US then continue to visit and revisit these options when you plan to live together.

If you are trying to warn people, help them understand what to look for, what the signs were etc (like the above poster said).
I know you mean this as a warning and I am so sorry this happened to you but you haven't given any information, just a scary story.

I agree with this. I am sorry. I really think the best thing is to return to Italy where the child will have citizenship and the mother can work.
I do not know of any path to citizenship or permanent residency that are available to your friend.
