The ones like us that come to the US legally are the ones that will pay. The first approvals on EAD could come with in a month yet we wait 3 months or more. Why should we have to wait when we arrived here legally and have paid the big bucks and the illegal ones get a free ride on the tax payers of the Untied States.

and every last one of them should be deported for even trying to apply and admitting their status.
On top of that Obama should be impeached for thinking he can legislate from the White House.
The fact that people even accept this garbage is pathetic.

    Madtown,
At first I was going to ignore your response because I found it ignorant, but as someone else has stated this is an internet forum and you only have as much information as that which is posted. With that said, I am a 26 year old (I'll be 27 next month) black woman, who has two college degree's (a B.A. & M.S.) and who is currently working on her third degree (J.D.). I will complete my last degree in May. I've worked since I was 16 years old various jobs to support myself and to ensure that I was able to live the life that I wanted to live. I have worked as a manager in a fortune 500 company making over $50,000 a year, before I decided to pursue a career in law. I have traveled and studied in several different countries around the world, including France, Italy, Great Britain, Switzlerland, Mexico, and the Bahamas to name a few. So when it comes to parenting my baby, I think I'll be ok. I am not some poor, uneducated, nontax paying citizen, who does nothing but sits on her butt all day. So please keep your ignorant thoughts and hate speech to yourself.
    Thanks!

I was assuming Florida based on the OP's timeline info. Your 5 factors dont matter worth a dam down there.
    Grounds for deadly force:
If the defendant is in his or her home or vehicle, then, under Section 776.013, Florida Statutes, the law will presume that the defendant had a reasonable fear of imminent death or bodily harm if the alleged victim unlawfully entered or remained or attempted to remove another person against their will. A person who unlawfully and by force enters or attempts to enter another’s home or vehicle is furthermore presumed to be doing so with the intent to commit an unlawful act involving force or violence.
If the OP lives up north where people are not allowed to and are too weak to protect themselves and expect the police to come in and clean up after the crime I apologize. We do things differently down here.

Why are so many blind to see the immigration system in this country is screwed up? What do other countries do for a USC trying to immigrate there? Can a USC ever go to the philippines and become a citizen? NO. Can anyone immigrate to Australia without having a job there? NOPE. What about the prostitutes from Brazil? They happened to just be in a situation involving secret service. Dumb luck they were the ones. And they can immigrate to the US just for a story. The protestor in China. Jailed there, but gets to come to the US within a month. Why do they get moved to the front of the line?
You have at least a better view that the children get benefits (but it costs the people who do things LEGALLY, time... one thing you can not get back. And I mean that as processing time that we have to wait. The actual time spent someone working on a case is the same, but adding more orders makes the overall processing time longer. It's not a hard concept to grasp) Some just think that the parents get rights to stay too because you "can't" break up families. You feel we don't give compassion, but what you don't realize it's actually being shoveled out already. We can't solve all of the world's problems.

Fees has nothing to be done if their parents committed the crime or they did it themself.
If the cost for DHS is only $500.00 than why the hell rest of the immigrants even temp immigrants looking for H1 visa are charged several thousands?
Ask them to pay the same fee what a K1 or CR1 applicant is paying plus a penalty..... this clearly show Obama has taken this step just for the vote purpose and nothing else.
These kids have already received more than fair share from American Tax payers....lot of them have used the Emergency care and education system.

You posted this same topic in the MENA forum and got what I thought were good answers that are Casablanca specific. Posting in the upper forums about consulate/interview issues will not get you satifactory information about your specific consulate because many of the posters are not familiar with Casablanca. Also, you posted this in the CR1 forum, you applied for a K1.

KLS2010 got a reaction from JohnR! in Lawyer help or not??
My opinion - based on reading numerous cases here on VJ - waste of money and TIME.
Having a lawyer will probably actually slow you down, as YOU have to collect all the required documents, then send them to the lawyer, who then sends them to the NVC (you hope - there have been cases where the lawyer has taken the fees but never sent any paperwork at all). Having a lawyer won't make them process your case any faster.
By doing it yourself, you know exactly what is going on, when everything is due, and can send everything as soon as you are able.
    Good luck

All it takes in some areas is for a person to go to the county attorney's office and make a sworn statement that an incident happened. The CA evaluates the statement and decides what charges might be appropriate, and in your case, requested a warrant be issued. It DOES NOT mean there is any merit to the charges as probably the only proof they have is your wife's statement.
You need to explain to your wife the serious consequences of what she has done (assuming the two of you wish to remain together). She has opened a can of worms that is going to cost both of you a lot of time and money and possibly jail for one of you. You need to be very clear with her to explain filing a false sworn statement is a crime and she could go to jail for doing so. So much advise I could give you, what, exactly, are the charges?
Your relationship has some deep issues that you need to explore. There is a big difference between arguing and actual domestic violence.

A lawyer is interested in making money. The more he advises someone to do something that is slightly fishy the more he can wring out of them to fix there situation. Do you if wandering into the US as the spouse of a USC and adjusting status was the right way to do things there would be thousands of people here doing it by filing a CR1 ? The people here highly respect the immigration laws of the US and are trying to help you do things the right way. If you don't respect the same laws you can try to slip through the loophole and feed your internet lawyer. If you get a CO that had a bad day you could end up spending years apart and thousands of dollars trying to fix things. Personally I have more respect for those that do things the right way than those that stop by here bragging how they cheated the system. We have enough cheaters and crooks in the US already , we really don't need more.

You cannot use the VWP to enter the US with intentions of immigrating. That is fraud. If a lawyer wants to take this on, knowing it is fraud, then you need a new lawyer.
It is really simple, if you want to immigrate to the US, get an immigrant visa. No one on here is going to suggest you do otherwise
    Good luck

The USC is the pregnant one? No reason for an expedite. You can go to the US any time that you want.
FWIW: A male from Pakistan goes through a long time in Additional Processing once the visa would be approved. There is no way around that.

They haven't had a pop at his religion yet - they must be saving that for later stages of the election
Back to the subject - richness is how people feel and the Canadians do appear to have a better sense of well being and to be very happy with their health care arrangements.
Global warming will open up the North West passage and make their land mass more accessible. There is nothing like having your passage opened up to add to your dense of well being
Averages don't mean much. I have just spend last weekend in new york and the riches of Romney and his ilk inflate the US averages but mean nothing or worse to the people who live on the street
The average American is far from rich and the average European or Canadian has a much more secure life in terms of the certainty of their health care and their employment laws etc
The US is ok while everything is going well, but there is always that lingering fear. In order to be of a settled mind, it is necessary to be able to shrug at those who fall by the wayside and possibly give a little to charity in order to assuage one's conscience
It's ironic that merely shrugging at people who are chewed up by the system, and allowing it to continue, is the culture in a land where christianity, and extreme christianity, is predominant
"Looking after each other" only seems to apply when an American is arrested abroad, and if that same person is sick with no health insurance, they suddenly become expendable

That is the rule - plus you must actually bad mouth your old country and agree with the ethnic stereotypes
Unless you are Italian or Irish and then you can glory in it and buy a T shirt
Jerries and Brits etc are viewed with suspicion, Poles derided, but Africans and Indians and Young Mexican students are treated as pets
The only way to deal with this is to know more about their history than them (That's not hard) and then trip em up with facts when they start their bragging and superiority stuff
I never was that much into the history of England until I moved here, but now I spend more and more time learning of it's wonderful history and achievements - not the least of which is to give the USA the core of its main language and the vast majority of its Federal law code AND not least, it's Constitution, most of which is grounded in the English revolution and civil wars of the 1600's and the bill of rights 1689.
That doesn't stop Mitt Romney claiming that the Constitution was all brand new, based on nothing else from anywhere else, and DIVINELY inspired if not written by GOD
Look, it doesn't rain as much and the petrol is cheap - that's good enough for me to hang out here -all the rest is a childish cartoon

Google 'Patriot Guard Riders' when you have some time. They are a bike club and have attended several funerals with the sole intent to keep the WBC from disrupting, disturbing or otherwise attaining the goal of lessening the burial of our heroes.
